maybe even a Ramshackle gargoyle!

And what if, he is the MC. Like for some reason, maybe because he sense how many students need help, the mirror called him. (just like any MC, we don't really know why they have been called)

He's technically "from another world" since the world he knew is long gone.

I feel like I'm going to dress him in the NRC uniform soon ^^'
