Dear Pastor/Musician,

I’m so excited to see you all at the AEC this year with you! I want to formally invite you to participate in the AEC Family Band this year, and I want to further explain what the AEC Family Band is and how it will work.

At New Life Church, the multisite church where I serve regularly, I invite every musician to participate in the New Life Family Band at our quarterly combined church gatherings. Likewise, CBNW is a family of churches, and this expression of corporate worship has proven valuable to illustrate our shared community.   The Family Band is a collaboration of all musicians of all levels, churches, backgrounds, and instruments. This year, the AEC Family Band will lead the Fifth and Final main session on Wednesday PM. We have set aside Tuesday from 1pm-3pm to rehearse together in the main auditorium.   But, I need your help to make this happen:   A. You are invited to bring an instrument and participate in the Family Band yourself! B. Invite any attending musical family members or worship pastors to participate in the Family Band. C. Please bring an acoustic instrument of any kind to AEC: (djembe, tambourine, guitar, xylophone, trumpet, kazoo, violin, floor tom, cello, trombone, piccolo, etc.) I will bring a limited selection of various percussion and keyboard-style instruments to share! D. If possible, please pack an additional music stand. E. Please attend the rehearsal on Tuesday afternoon. F. Stay tuned for a Spotify playlist and PDF sheet music for the songs we’ll play.   I hope that’s enough information to convince you to join!
