Of devilish caffeine and health nuts
@advxjongkook
At a time that was perhaps a little cruel in its earliness, Jisoo pushed open the door to her favorite cafĂŠ, breathing in the warm cozy air of the cafĂŠ with relief. A she closed the door to the horrendous cold breeze that was lingering unremorsefully outside, Jisoo walked up to the counter to get herself a much needed cup of chamomile tea. Ah yes, the tea would be a nice aid in assisting Jisoo with any existing nerves. She was starting her official re-assignment as part of the police force today, and whilst Jisoo knew that it wouldnât be too overwhelmingly different from her previous experience within the military, her nerves arose from her real mission: to capture and kill her previous special ops captain, Jin Goo. Jisoo was currently very conflicted. To the best of her knowledge, Jin Goo was specifically the type of man to obey his country to his last breath, (and it was precisely that exhibition of deep loyalty that enables Jisoo to fall in love with him in the first place) thus this heartless assassination order from their superiors smelt of strangely of suspicious intent.
So Jisoo was going to get to the bottom of the whole mess, whether she liked the truth or not. And she was ready to wage a war in order to do so. In fact, with regards to information, she already had a particular information broker in mind.
As if this atrocious mess of a situation wasnât enough to keep a woman occupied, Incheon currently also held a very nosy and omnipresent problem, namely, her dear sister Jennie. At the mere thought of Jennie, Jisoo could feel a headache forming at her temples.
Uncharacteristically lost in her wonderings (but one could also argue that it was the âJennie effectâ), Jisoo didnât manage to avoid a head-on collision with a man on as she made for the exit of the cafĂŠ. Shocked out of her thoughts by the hot sticky feeling of caffeine sinking its metaphoric claws into the front of her shirt, Jisoo tsked in disapproval. Getting any stains on her perfectly ironed shirt was a problem in itself, but caffeine? The substance derived from the devil himself?
âYou know, caffeine is atrociously bad for you.â Jisoo sighed. âIn fact, the more you consume the more deeply rooted the addiction becomes; so I suggest you take spilling this on me as a sign that you should wean yourself off from this unhealthy habit.â
Well, if this wasnât a terrible start to her day. Jisoo pried the sticky shirt off of her skin slightly, feeling uncomfortably unclean. âAnd just how am I going to get this stain off my shirtâŚ.â
