Firstly, fair disclosure that I'm not an expert on film-making business or how producing works. 新丽 (N.ew Classics Media), I believe, is the company that currently has the rights to adapt L.otus Step. I say currently because frequently the rights are only sold for a couple of years and the adaptation would have to be completed within that timeframe or else the copyright would have to be extended (but in the case of, for example, the P.illowbook, when the time was up the copyright was purchased by a different company than the person who originally held the adaption rights).
I guess N.ew Classics Media is therefore technically not the company that adapted Ten Miles or P.illowbook, since J.aywalk is the company generally credited for those two dramas. However, N.ew Classics is a subsidiary of T.encent, which worked in collaboration with J.aywalk on the two previous dramas. N.ew Classics has done a couple of dramas that at least Admin Ro has been decently pleased with in the past - R.uyi's R.oyal L.ove, J.oy of L.ife, and most recently N.ew L.ife B.egins, for example. They've also done a couple...less than stellar adaptations, in Admin Ro's opinion - I am less than pleased with both of the J.in Y.ong adaptations under their production, and couldn't personally make it through S.word S.now S.tride despite thinking I would for its high crossover in terms of cast with J.oy of L.ife.
In all likelihood though, at least according to my knowledge and opinion of the matter, it will not be a production by a single company. Most of the times an independent production company has to work with another production company to air on a larger online platform/receive enough funding/sign all the actors they want, etc. etc. And anyway, we don't know who will end up with the adaptation rights when the books are finally done and they are able to adapt in the story's entirety.
