I got the last of Adventure Time on DVD for my birthday, which was the day before Thanksgiving, and last night I finished it. I know that people made fun of the show and the writers, saying that they never knew how to write endings since they never fully wrapped anything up. But when I watched that last episode I felt so at peace. I felt like I should be crying since such a big piece of my life had finished. But the ending didn't feel like an ending at all. That's what saved me from my tears. The story went on. They didn't wrap it up. It went on much like life goes on. Life doesn't stop at certain points just so you feel satisfied, it keeps going whether you're ready for what's next or not. Even after you're long gone life will still be going forward and never stopping. This cartoon has taught me so many little things, it's grown with me. Finn turned 17, I just turned 17. It's crazy. I loved every second if it. Plus my ship sailed which made everything better!! So that's all I wanted to say... Bye Interwebers! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
