Back Wall Movement Tested on Six Compound Bows If you like gear reviews and tests, be sure to subscribe so you don't miss them: https://www.youtube.com/@zachherold1 I ran a back wall movement test on six compound bows to see how much string travel each has when pulled from 13 to 17 pounds of pressure. No fluff here, just the numbers and what they mean for feel and shot consistency. The bows tested were the Prime Form, Hoyt RX9 Ultra, Elite Eon, PSE Mach 33 DS, Mathews Lift X 33, and Bowtech Proven 34. I used a Last Chance Archery Bow Scale 3.0 and a custom draw board to get precise measurements. Most bows fell between 2/32 and 3/32 inches of back wall movement. The Bowtech Proven 34 stood out with 6/32 inches, which is quite a bit more give than the others. That can affect how solid your shot feels. At the end, I put all the results into a bar graph to give a clear comparison. This test helps when deciding which bow offers the back wall feel you want.
