Okay. Go easy on me. 🤣

I think I've finally finished this piece. I'm just going to be completely honest with you guys...

Shading is NOT my strong suit.

But, it is FINALLY done and I am somewhat proud.

I'll continue to learn from my mistakes as I go. 💫

P.S. I didn't make Cayde’s cloak his ”Vanguard” Cloak, because he isn't the Vanguard in this particular AU.

The Story behind the AU:

The streets were lively, filled with laughter and glee.

It wasn't often that the Hunter came down into the city, unless necessary. The lanterns served a brilliant gleam aided by the moon overhead.

There was a package that needed to be retrieved, and Zavala had left the assignment to Cayde. Though, the city below was extravagant at this time of day, compared to the dull atmosphere of the tower.

A vivacious tune floods the route, apprehending the attention of one curious Exo, and the crowd that assembled only piqued his interest.

He wasn't sure if he had the time, but what big blue didn't know wouldn't hurt him. Who’s to say he didn't have to take a detour?

The Hunter steps closer, easing through the accumulation.

The entirety of his being becomes rigid as he observes the woman surrounded. Her thighs and hips quaked with the rambunctious tune as her arms flow with vitality.

He had never seen anything like it. He could only assume she harbored a tremendous amount of stamina.

Incredible.

But that wasn't the only thing that snatched his gaze.

Her golden-honey skin illuminated by the lights, and the curls and coils of her loose hair as she bounced and turned. It was captivating, exciting.

Beautiful.

Cayde could’ve sworn his wires were crossed when she locked eyes with him. The slight curve against her features only highlighted her beauty.

The woman leaped closer, carefully removing the man’s cloak from his shoulders and proceeded with her dance. It was strange, really. The sight of his shawl swiveling around her added a certain elegance.
