AFTER

The alarm clock went off and it's loud noise filled the bedroom.You groaned loudly before rolling over Adrian who was sleeping peacefully.

He groaned and later on chuckled deeply as he felt weight being rolled on and off his body.

He chuckled once more as he felt you curling up to him after you turned off the alarm clock,knowing you had a smile on your face. He pulled you closer and placed his head in your neck.

After a while,you felt him stretch behind you. You groaned and turned around making him chuckle.He leaned on his elbow looking at your pouting and sleepy face adoringly

"Good morning honey" he whispered,his voice still ragged from sleep. You smiled with half closed eyes,"Good morning to you too sir". He chuckled and caresses your cheek lovingly.

"We have to get up" he run his hand up and down your arm,leading in you moving closer to him. He chuckled and kissed your forehead.

"Come on MC,we are going to be late" he said,trying his best to sound strict,however he couldn't stop himself from grinning.

"Five more minutes" you muttered before snuggling even closer to him. He chuckled before patting your head lovingly and kissing the top of your head."We will be late sweetheart" he reminded you.

You groaned before looking up at him. "Do you want to keep the rest waiting?" he asked tauntingly. You sighed and chuckled."I'm sure they will be fine without us" and went back to your previous sleeping position.

"They will be fine for five minutes baby" you whispered. Adrian chuckled,running a hand up and down your back. He knew you weren't going to go back to sleep and just wanted to cuddle for a bit,so he felt relaxed that he wouldn't have to go through the whole process again. Not that he really minded.

After some time he kissed the top of your head lovingly,"Let's get going now,yes?" he asked to which you nodded with a yawn,distancing yourself from him.

He smiled at you as you sat on the bed rubbing your eyes while smiling at him sweetly. He laughed and kissed your forehead and then pecked your lips."Me first or you?"

You almost immediately answered "You",he grinned being certain you wanted some extra time with those soft pillows. He grinned and pecked your nose. "Yes ma'am" he threw the covers off him and jogged to the bathroom.

When he came out he saw you cuddling the pillows. He just chuckled surprised while standing across you with his arms over his chest.

"What?" you asked,your face on the pillow. He laughed,he didn't really know why he was surprised.He clapped his hands before throwing a couch pillow he found on a chair at you. You looked at him,as if glaring at him and he laughed.

"Let's go! Come on" he said she laughing before pulling the cover. "Hey!" you exclaimed loudly,losing the comforting warmth. He smiled fondly at you.

"Come on! Go to the bathroom and then we will grab something to eat." you groaned before getting up.

Adrian moved his face toward you with a smike as you walked next to him. You chuckled and kissed his cheek before making your way to the bathroom.

HAPPY BLOODBOUND ANNIVERSARY

I wanted to make this as a goodbye to Bloodbound, this book series was amazing and it will always be my favourite, I loved the characters, the storyline, the art, the fights and everything else this amazing series gave us. I'm going to miss Bloodbound so freaking much, but whenever I need to replay and see my gorgeous or I'm just missing it, I know it will always be there on the app.

SHE KNOCKED on the door before peeking in to see if Adrian was still busily slumped over paperworks. Things were slow a few days after Vega’s attack and he had been extremely busy in managing both Raines Corporation business and Vega’s Clan itself.

“May I come in?” She asked and welcomed herself inside his office.

Upon hearing her enter, Adrian spared a quick glance her way before refocusing his attention back to the file at hand. She moved and laid the piping hot cup of coffee she made on his desk before going over his side to gently squeeze his shoulders. Watching him elegantly sign and go over each document made her heart flutter, gaze in awe at how precise he is at his job. Sometimes, she does forget that Adrian is the CEO of a big corporation.

“Hey. Things will be easier once we find a competent replacement for VP of Operations, alright?” Her voice cooed. Adrian gave her a small smile before pausing on his duties and enveloping her in a hug, arms now wrapped around her torso.

“I’m sorry. I had to take care of these personally.” He murmured against her as a comfortable silence stretched between them. Adrian was the first to break the contact. He squinted at the morning light that got past the heavy curtains. “It’s that late, huh?”

Amy flipped her wrist and nodded as she confirmed the time. “Early, you mean. It’s almost 7am... HQ is opening soon.”

“Mm... Don’t you think I deserve a small breakfast with you under the beautiful morning sun?” He wiggled his brows suggestively and she sighed in response. “Frankly, I quite enjoyed doing your New York City tour...”

“Adrian...” Amy bit her bottom lip as she paused. “Even if I wanted to take you back there, I’m not going to. We had trouble covering you up when you were photographed by the paparazzi eating at a ‘local travesty’.” Remembering the article released by the press the very next day after their little locally approved city tour made her shudder.

A groan escaped his lips as he pouted, brows furrowed and eyes a sad droopy. She giggled at how ridiculous yet still unbelievably handsome he looked. “Well, quite charming, aren’t you?”

“Was hoping the puppy eyes would work.” Adrian smirked and got up, sauntering over the floor-to-ceiling windows. He drew back the heavy curtains, exposing the entire room in a bask of sunlight. He smiled at the gentle warmth that showered him as he did so.

She couldn’t help but stare in awe at how his skin glowed when the light hit it. His beautiful locks were highlighted and his features accented to divine and refined as the moment passed. The heavens did bless him with immaculate looks. Adrian waved her over and she followed without questions, feeling compelled to do so.

He wrapped her in his arms as both of them welcomed the soft rays on their skins, enjoying the gentle warmth it has to offer. “I want more mornings like this with you.” Adrian whispered, lips just a few inches away from her own. “I want to smell the morning dew on your skin. The fresh breeze of the night melting away from the pavements. The soft smell of trees as they sway in early morning wind. I want to see numerous sunrises with you by my side.”

For a few moments, he stared, eyes searching and longing it was almost painful to watch. It made her heart ache at how, at any given day, the effects of the serum will wear off and to the darkness he has to come back.

“We still have today to enjoy, Adrian. One step at a time.” She wrapped her arms around his neck and closed the distance between them with a kiss. Adrian was quick to return the gesture in a fierce and loving manner.

Amy sighed happily as she pulled away. He leaned his forehead against hers, hand cupping her face in the process. His thumb caressed her cheek while he placed a soft kiss on her forehead. “A thousand poems will never be able to describe how magnificent you are.”

“I may not be creative but I’d trade my most favorite pizza in the world just to have you.” She grinned and Adrian threw his head back in laughter.
