Valentine’s 2020. Hoooomemade tacos al pastorrrr!!! First try. Overall successful. There were minor notes of interest, like reheating on the griddle, adding more fat to tortilla mix, delicate manner of roasting, etc. Will have to do another post with the recipe notes.

Hey guys! Just thought I’d make a quick post for National Taco Day! Woohoo! Bought some tacos on my way home from work, and thought I’d take some pictures to celebrate!
I just went to one of my favorite taco trucks.. which uh, honestly, it’s not a favorite of mine anymore. It’s always so hard to write about nice pictures when you know the food was not up to par this time around...
The lengua was like.. kind of dry, and the adobada I got was the same way as well. Wasn’t the vibrant red I usually would get, and overall, everything was just kind of dull colored. As far as taste goes.. yeah man... not like how they used to be...
Despite this downer short post, I hope you’re all doing well, and happy National Taco Day!
