   Before either of them can get up and start the day, she reaches out blindly with one hand. After some shifting on her part, she manages to grab her by the waist, pressing her face against the cool skin of her shoulder.

          “          oh.. i should have warned you. my cooking is out of this world, i’m a decent singer and my hugs are wonderful. i’m the triple threat of the mom world yet this is a first in the people singing of my praises department.      “     the tightness and warmth that you hope to radiate as you pull the woman close, smile bright and laughter bubbling as you take in her words. it’s the years of practice and years worry that made your hugs the way they are.

👄 -- The young dimension-and-time-displaced Emma looked down, pondering her next words. She was still mostly untrained in the use of her powers and she didn’t even try to read the other’s mind. “Lady, I just saw you take the mother of all missiles right to your chest... and you’re still standing. I’ll believe anything you say. Does it hurt?” 

🎀 -- The young clone tried to hide the smirk that threatened to surface when her sister said those words. She was used to the great Wolverine’s swearing -- she did it herself now and then -- and she was unfazed. She stirred her soup, glancing Laura’s way. “Sure. Yeah. I’m sure it’s gonna be a real encyclopedia. Are you sure you want it all to be written down? Like that time you jetpacked naked?” 

“Well, that all depends on what you want, doesn’t it? When you think of something, let me know.”

❝i don’t need your sympathy, thank you.❞  his arm is currently in a sling, pressed tightly to his chest. he’s still trying to heal - it hasn’t been all that long since the incident that left half his nerves totally fried. he moves across the room and takes a seat, legs folding with a heavy and frustrated sigh. he rubs his temple, head resting back - eyes closing.
