1. PESSAT ECE Cut-off / Rank Required (General Category)

For admission into ECE through normal PESSAT counselling at PES University Ring Road / main campus:

PESSAT rank for ECE: generally in the ~1,500 to ~3,500+ range depending on rounds & competition.

⚠️ These values vary every year with seat availability and pool of candidates. For recent years, many students have reported cut-offs around 2500–3500+ for ECE in early rounds.

PES University no longer uses a separate PESSAT test format like before — admissions are now largely based on one of these:

For ECE, PESSAT and JEE Main ranks are both considered with their respective seat pools.
