Helloo pooo! I've been following this blog since last year and balak ko po gawan ng fanfic si Maliksi pero hindi ko pa siya ma-write out since I don't have all the facts so I just wanna ask po: (sorry agad if some of these have already been clarified/implied)
Do Tamawos (and in this case, Makisig and Maliksi specifically) take their women back with them to Biringan? Is there an option for them to stay in the human realm(?)
Is there, like, a mark that Tamawos can place on their women to make other Tamawos/creatures know that this person is already owned/under the protection of a Tamawo?
Aside from the luxuries of living with a Tamawo like Makisig (I doubt living with Maliksi is a luxury, Imfao), are there any real benefits for a human to stay/be with a Tamawo or is this transaction usually one-sided where only the Tamawos benefit from it?
Does Maliksi actually participate in the baby race or nah? Aside from the anons, does he have other women?
If Maliksi does participate in helping repopulate their kind, why? I haven't been in the fandom for long but from what I've seen, Maliksi isn't very fond of humans considering what happened to Makisig so I wonder what his motive is. Is it out of duty/obligation? For his brother's sake?
I wonder how Maliksi would react to a maiden who's completely fine with the whole transactional relationship thing and doesn't ask him for any emotional support. She'll do her role, and he'll do his type of thing.
Can you make deals with Tamawos?
I don't know a lot about Philippine Mythology and I can't find any good sources about them either so I was hoping I could get some answers here π.

(( Anyway. Answers for your queries, basta send yung fic ha! pleassee HAHAHHAH Requirement na. HAHAHAH ))
1.) Do Tamawos (and in this case, Makisig and Maliksi specifically) take their women back with them to Biringan? Is there an option for them to stay in the human realm(?)
ANSWER: Tamawos, such as Makisig and those under his wing, take all the ladies they have persuaded to Biringan with them. But the Traditional Tamawos (such as Lakan or Bagsik) typically abduct or trick the ladies to accompany them. There are some cases where the human lady would try and seek them and eventually they'll find themselves in the city and gets greeted into the place by the Tamawo (such as Makisig again) whom they tried to follow. NO, there is no option of them just simply staying in the Human Realm. However, they're given visiting rights as agreed upon with their Tamawo (which is they can visit the human world once every 5 years). Time flows differently in Biringan, your 1 year in the human realm or world may simply be a 1 week in Biringan and the like. That is simply a hypothesis and may not be true but one thing's for sure, time is never the same here and there. There is no sync. The Tamawo - Makisig, has been known to extend courtesies or leniencies to his human ladies but you should never test his patience and should learn how to time your requests with him.
2.) Is there, like, a mark that Tamawos can place on their women to make other Tamawos/creatures know that this person is already owned/under the protection of a Tamawo?
ANSWER: YES. Absolutely. And it is unremovable unless the Tamawo removes that scent himself. This scent is gradually applied to the human. Methods include frequent cuddling, intercourse, oh and kissing is especially effective, well, typically any form of liquid exchange. There's no cologne or perfume that can mimic this scent since it works like how pheromones are but infused with majika (magic). Each scent is very unique, like a fingerprint. However there have been cases where if a Human starts "falling out of love" or gets infatuated with another Tamawo, that scent starts getting replaced bit by bit BUT NEVER FULLY by the Tamawo the human is currently infatuated in. So you are not able to lie about your emotions - Tamawos are highly empathic beings after all. Also, note that a human can never detect any changes in their scent etc. and ONLY your TAMAWO knows of the changes. My advice, you better be steadfast in your loyalty to your Tamawo. Scents are completely removed when your Tamawo voluntarily removes it from you (through the last kiss) OR you are successful in taking out the Tamawo yourself or has the Tamawo killed.

ANSWER: Reposting the image for highlighting purposes. XD But no, it's not one-sided IF your Tamawo is the one like Makisig or anyone who has followed his new way of making deals with Humans. A traditional Tamawo's deals (like Lakan, Bagsik, etc. typically, any Tamawo who still wears the old greyish-white attire) will ALWAYS always favor the Tamawo and never the human. They simply want to get babies out of you for their tribe's repopulation (remember all the female Tamawos have been wiped out so they have no other means of reproduction and may go extinct).
In Makisig's case, he finds humans fascinating and precious and has studied and applied ways to make the deals fair to both parties. He has lived among them that one time after all. You will be treated like royalty there, however, like a surrogate mother, you will be lending your body to house the growing Tamawo fetus. These dealings may vary from one tamawo to another.
4.) Does Maliksi actually participate in the baby race or nah? Aside from the anons, does he have other women?
ANSWER: Make no mistake, Maliksi has his own way and method of making human ladies fall for his "charms" but he chooses not to do them since he sees the process as BOTH a chore and a bore. Currently he has NO humans nor ladies at his side of the mansion. All the rooms near his are empty; only his room lights up if you happen to pass by. He spends his time playing games or annoying the other ladies in the mansion, testing them, checking their place or just judging them lol. He stays away from humans as much as possible and finds it irritating the most whenever he senses humans doubting his older brother's intentions. He's extremely protective of his older brother, the only family he has left. He has the highest respect for him as well. He feels indifferent to the whole "repopulate the tribe" mentality that has plagued his race.

ANSWER: That would probably happen if all the crows turn white and the pigs fly. But who knows. HAHAHA However, he may do that in extreme cases if his older brother orders him to or asks him to. For the longest time, Makisig simply lets him do what he wants hahah and only gently reminds him why he's doing what he's doing. Yes, it may be out of duty/obligation but he wouldn't move a muscle while he's older brother's still around. Almost everything he does is for his brother's sake actually yes. But if you push the wrong buttons on Maliksi, just expect a pretty rigid form of disciplining or something similar. However he won't mark you as his and would limit his actions with just using his hands and letting out powerful pheromones that may inhibit your adrenaline rush temporarily. All tamawos are capable of this and they are the only ones who know how much is enough, it's one of their secrets that other creatures haven't yet taken a crack at knowing. I would also like to remind everyone that tamawos ARE NOT humans, and thus our human laws and values don't apply to them. They also follow that notion by only applying their own cultures on others if YOU HAVE STEPPED IN THEIR LAND. So if Maliksi was in the human world, and a human might push his buttons the wrong way, he may be civil while just showing you his distaste of you with either disgusted faces, offensive finger signs (lol) or just like how a typical human acts when they get annoyed lol HAHHA. But he won't lay a finger on you, coz he also doesn't wanna touch you lol.

ANSWER: Honestly? He hates that. Like I said, Tamawos are very empathic beings so he doesn't enjoy being in the company of someone who also doesn't really enjoy his company and just does things transactionally. YES, it is a VERY VERY complicated relationship Tamawos have with their old and new ways. Truth be told, Tamawos are monogamous beings. They will live and die with their one and only. But due to the curse and disappearance of their females and the dreadful thought of simply getting erased without descendants to continue their race and lineage, they had to take drastic measures despite it going against everything they had once believed in. Funny how the world works. Funny how a creature does just to survive. HOWEVER UHHHH , I would like to recommend some fics from this author on how maliksi is portrayed, you might have an idea on how maliksi is. They also captured his essence as a character magnificently!

ANSWER: Like mentioned above, YES, but BEWARE. Always beware. MY ADVICE? NEVER MAKE DEALS WITH SUPERNATURAL BEINGS PLEASE HAHAHAHAH. STAY AWAY FROM ALL TAMAWOS. YOU HEAR ME EVERYONE, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ALL SUPERNATURAL CREATURES, DON'T MAKE ANY DEALS WITH THEM. NO DEAL AT ALL TIMES HAHAHAHHA. Also please take note that most of these are my own versions and artistic interpretations of our mythical beings XDD They should be taken with a grain of salt since if you look at it, not much is known about tamawos other than the fact that they live near bodies of water and are known to abduct ladies to repopulate their tribes due to a lack of women in their ranks.
