Demisexual culture is when you think you're a fake because there was that one celebrity crush you had, but then you remember that that crush developed because you watched countless interviews of that person and it got to the point where you felt like you knew that person. Parasocial relationships are a WEIRD thing.

Yoongi had never been a big fan of traveling. He liked his dwelling and the comfort it provided, and he rarely, if ever, saw any reason to leave it.
He had found the little pond he called home almost six years ago, after a rather unfortunate accident involving some now potentially scarred-for-life fishermen in the river he had previously spent his time in. There was a huge, complex cave system that stretched for miles upon miles in every direction underneath his tarn, but he hadnât explored much more than what was near the main pondâs area. He saw no reason to â what good would it do him? He had everything he could ever need right where he was, and there were little to no humans around. Besides, there wasnât anything there that he hadnât already seen.
Or, so he had thought.
One day, he found a rock at the bottom of his pond. Of course, this wasnât really an unusual occurrence, and there were plenty of rocks around, but this one was different.
It was manmade.
It had been resting just outside the mouth of one of the longest tunnels in the entire cave system, one that frequently had a rather strong current flowing through it into the mire. The rock must have been carried from its source at the other end of the tunnel all the way to Yoongiâs pond â it was definitely small and light enough to have been swept along.
So, despite himself and his inhibitions, Yoongi found himself swimming along said tunnel. It wasnât that he was curious, of course not. He just wanted to know what was potentially living in the caves with him. Not that he couldnât handle whoever it was.
There were no other tunnels that broke off of the main channel, which was weird for this particular system. It was also really, really dark. Yoongi trailed his hands along the walls on either side of him as he swam, not only to look for potential branching off, but also to make sure he didnât run into a sudden curve. It was longer than he expected, despite being aware of just how vast the caves were, and after a long while of swimming he started debating going back.
Iâm probably more than halfway by now. If I turn back itâll be an even longer swim.
Sighing internally, Yoongi kept swimming. The water was slowly warming, indicating either an upward curve bringing him closer to the surface, or an area exposed to direct sunlight. Or that he was in some sort of unnatural structure.
His suspicions were confirmed when he spotted more of the peculiar rock he had found in his pond. Much more of it.
Gradually, pillars took shape around him. The tunnel started to noticeably slant upward, and the dirt around him became mixed with bricks of the same rock. Roots poked out from the cracks in the rock, more and more moss covering the walls the further up he went.
Yoongi spotted sunlight. He was almost entirely vertical now, looking up at what seemed like a surfacing hole, maybe a fourth of the size of his pond. Big enough for a couple people to splash around in, but not nearly large enough for a naiad. Whoever this structure belonged to was a land dweller.
He swam a bit harder, letting his hands fall to his sides from the walls â the rough, unfamiliar brick causing unpleasant tingles on his skin â and finally broke through the surface.
Yoongi shook his hair out, and became aware of the sound of birdsong as he did. He blinked his eyes open, water droplets clinging to his eyelashes, and looked around. He was in some sort of hugeâŚtemple? Really? A temple?
What the hell was this doing in the middle of the forest? Yoongi could remember the general area of where the tunnel ran, and it was definitely not near any sort of civilisation. He kicked his legs gently, swimming closer to the edge of the hole and resting his hands on the side. Vines wound around the pillars at the edges of the rooms, colourful birds and reptiles flitting to and fro among the rock and flora.
The roof was somewhat dilapidated, caved in in some areas and totally sunken in others, letting the warm sunlight break through. The hole Yoongi had surfaced in was nothing more than a collapsed area of the floor, the tunnel likely eroded over long periods of time due to the strong current. There was an open archway of a door leading to another area of the temple that Yoongi couldnât see properly, and a set of huge, wide stairs on the other side of the room. The stairs lead to nothing but what probably used to be a huge stained glass window â there was nothing left of it but bits and pieces of colourful crystal and some ironwork.
âHello?â
Yoongi nearly jumped out of his skin at the voice, and whipped around to face its owner.
A naga stared back at him.
Yoongiâs mouth gaped. He hadnât seen a naga in years. No one had seen a naga in years. Like, centuries. And here one was, in an old, ruined temple in the middle of nowhere.
Any words Yoongi could have come up with were stuck somewhere in his throat. Not only was he looking at something that had been believed extinct for centuries, but he had accidentally trespassed on its territory. He had no idea what nagas were capable of, and this one had a direct passage to Yoongiâs home. Shit.
Finally, he opened his mouth to say something, but the naga beat him to it.
âDaeâŚhyunâŚ?â
Yoongi blinked, mouth still open. Daehyun? Who the fuck is that? Before he could correct the naga, it had excitedly slithered all the way across the room in a couple seconds flat, only a foot away from Yoongiâs face now.
âItâs you!â the naga exclaimed, smiling so wide it hurt Yoongiâs cheeks just to look at it. âI knew you werenât dead, not really! You had to go into hiding or something, right? So they wouldnât find you again? Or-â the naga gasped, and his voice dropped. âWere you injured? Do you still need help? Did it really take all this time to heal?â The nagaâs hands were shifting nervously from the jewelry around its neck to hovering around Yoongiâs shoulders and face and back again.
Yoongi swam a few inches back, his shoulders tensing and drawing up to his ears. The nagaâs hands dropped.
âUhâŚI donât know who this Daehyun person is, but it sure as fuck isnât me,â he said, unable to help the hint of condescension dripping from his words. The naga flinched. âI live in the tunnels connected to this hole, and I wandered a bit too far, thatâs it. Iâm not even from around here. So, no need to get so worked up over nothing.â The nagaâs whole body seemed to slump. Its huge tail shifted and coiled, and then it was backing away. Yoongi wasnât sure if it was his imagination or not, but the entire room seemed different â almost like the very atmosphere had dropped with the nagaâs mood. He stayed relatively far away, unsure if he should just leave or not.
ââŚSorry,â the naga mumbled, just loud enough that Yoongi could hear it. âI mistook you forâŚsomeone else.â A glance was shot at Yoongi over the nagaâs shoulder, something dwelling in those brilliantly blue eyes that he couldnât quite decipher. âDidnât mean to freak you out.â
Yoongi forced his muscles to relax, but stayed where he was.
âItâsâŚfine. I wasnât expecting to find someone over here.â Even as he spoke, Yoongi frowned. Who was this Daehyun? Did he really look that similar to someone else? Someone that had clearly lived in this area? Someone who knew a naga? âUh, if you donât mind me askingâŚâ
The naga looked at him again, more fully this time.
âWho is Daehyun? How am IâŚso similar to them?â Yoongi wasnât sure what boundary he was overstepping by asking this, if he even was.
The naga turned away almost immediately.
âThatâs none of your business.â Yoongiâs lips parted. The nagaâs tone was drastically different from just a couple minutes ago. What had been warm and inviting was now cold and shuttered. Even so, he wasnât deterred.
âWell, Iâd say it is, if I resemble them so much you immediately mistook us.â
âIt isnât!â the naga snapped, turning sharply back around to face Yoongi, its lips pulled back in a snarl. âThatâs not for you to decide, naiad! Now get out of my house!â The utter anger on the nagaâs face was unsuitable, Yoongi thought.
âCan you at least just-â
âGet! Out!â
The nagaâs huge tail lashed out like lightning at Yoongi.
Acting entirely on instinct, Yoongi ducked below the water. There was a crack and a giant splash from the impact of the nagaâs tail on the surface, the ripples of the contact shuddering over Yoongiâs skin. He waited, quietly, but didnât hear anything else. Figuring it would be better to stay away from whatever nerve he had just hit â and perhaps this naga altogether â Yoongi turned himself around and swam back down the tunnel to his pond.
----
Yoongi couldnât stop thinking about the naga. He had never been one for feeling bad or guilty about speaking his mind, and he hadnât expected his chance encounter the other day to be an exception. He had struck a nerve with a total stranger â not hard to do â but had fled before the situation could have gotten any worse. And, really, he figured, it was mostly the nagaâs fault for getting up in Yoongiâs face like that.
I shouldnât have reacted like that, though.
Yoongi scowled at his own thoughts and slouched a bit more in the water, his mouth dipping below the surface.
I hate this.
He had to apologize, right? Even if it wasnât totally his fault, it was still sort of because of him. And he just really, really couldnât stop thinking about the naga.
Fuck it.
Without giving himself time to second-guess himself, Yoongi dove down into his pond and beelined for the tunnel that lead to the nagaâs temple. It was just as long of a swim as he remembered, but this time he was accompanied by self-loathing and a nagging voice somewhere in the back of his head telling him he had really fucked up this time. What other explanation was there for this awful feeling of guilt, after all?
When he surfaced in the nagaâs temple, the creature itself was nowhere to be seen. The big, ornate room looked much the same as before, if a bit darker. Yoongi swam to the edge of the little hole and propped himself up on the broken stones. He leaned forward, craning his neck to try and see into the other room, but the doorway was situated at too odd of an angle for him to get a good look into. He grunted and settled back again, looking around.
âCan I help you?â
This time, Yoongi was more prepared for the sudden voice. He turned around, and found the naga in the same spot as last time, eyeing him warily. Yoongi didnât blame it, really, with the way he had acted. He was frankly surprised he wasnât being kicked out immediately.
âUh.â He stared for a second, unused to having to apologize for his actions. âI justâŚwanted to come back to say sorry. Uh, for the way I acted. The other day. It was stupid. I wasâŚstupid.â He let out a breath with those last words, hating the way that whole apology came out. âI shouldnât have pried about something that wasnât my business. So. Yeah. Sorry.â Yoongi stared down at the water, unable to look the naga in the eyes. Not out of embarrassment, necessarily, but frustration.
Why doesnât anything I say ever come out right? That sounded so dumb. Why couldnât I just have apologized normally and gone on my way-
âItâs okay.â
Yoongi looked up sharply at the nagaâs voice. It was smiling gently at him, the look reassuring and calm despite the horns curling around its head and the shocking blue of its eyes.
Wait. Why am I paying so much attention to what it looks like? No one has seen one of these for centuries and Iâm worried about its eyes? Seriously?
âI shouldnât have reacted the way I did either, you were just asking a question,â the naga continued, slithering closer. The temple almost seemed to move along with it, breathing and shifting in sync. Yoongi watched carefully, for some reason. âSo, Iâm sorry too.â It settled on the ground close to Yoongi, the very tip of its huge tail dipping into the water, as if checking the temperature.
âWhatâs your name?â The question was out before Yoongi could even register thinking it. He mentally smacked himself. The naga looked vaguely surprised, but not shocked.
âJimin,â it said softly. âIâm the God of Love.â
âOh.â
Oh? Thatâs all you have to say? You finally know why you canât stop thinking about him â heâs the God of fucking Love of all things â and all you can say is oh?
Jiminâs smile widened a bit at Yoongiâs bluescreening.
âDonât worry, I get that all the time. âWhy are you locked up in the middle of nowhere if youâre a God? Why havenât I heard of you, or seen you?ââ He shook his head, the jewellery around his neck jingling gently with his movements. âItâs a long story, if you were wondering as well.â
Yoongi tilted his head at the naga, observing him carefully for a minute.
âIf thatâs what makes you happy, I donât think I have the right to say anything about it at all, let alone question it,â he said finally. He definitely wasnât about to judge how someone else lived after all the shit heâd gotten for his own solitary ways. Jimin seemed to perk up at his words. The whole temple brightened, subtly.
âYou remind me of someone I used to know,â the naga said, and Yoongi wasnât sure if the fond warmth in his voice was his own imagination or not. âThat sounds exactly like something he would say.â Yoongi shifted a bit uncomfortably under the nagaâs gaze, unsure if this was meant to be a compliment or not. âDonât worry,â Jimin added, shifting his eyes away and up past the broken ceiling of his temple, to the blue sky above, âthatâs a good thing. He meant a lot to me.â
They lapsed into silence for a few moments, but it wasnât the awkward sort of quiet that Yoongi was used to. It was more comfortable, familiar.
Weird.
âMy name is Yoongi. I already said this, but I live in a pond attached to this tunnel,â he said, gesturing down to the water he was still treading. Jimin looked at him closely, as if considering something.
âYou should come visit me more often, then, Yoongi,â he finally said. Something about his tone was final, and Yoongi thought with a bit of amusement that this was more of a command than a request. Not that he minded, the naga was proving to be good company so far.

As you can see from the title of this post, Medley and I have taken the painful decision to close this blog down.
Thereâs a multitude of reasons, but the main one is Medley and I are still just teenage students and we have a growing list of commitments in our daily lives, so we canât actively run this blog anymore. Iâm sure you all know that our rate of answering and posting has become very slow and erratic over the last few months.
We wonât be deleting the blog, and Iâll try my best to clear up whatever asks we have remaining in the askbox, but from now on asks will be closed indefinitely. You may still read through our old asks and headcanons if you want to, though!
If we ever have time to return to this blog in the future, we will. But for now, to all our followers and fans, thank you for all the support youâve given us ever since we started the blog. Itâs been fun, but the time has come for us to say goodbye.
Once again, thank you all, and hopefully weâll be back sometime in the future!
Can i request a Xiumin/Baekhyun [whoever you choose] fight with their bestfriend because she kept saying that their gf is cheating[which is true] then they go away and----you know what's next. HAPPY END pleaseee
It had been an accident.
You had never really approved of Minseokâs newest girlfriend, even if she did seem quite nice. There was just something about her that ticked you off, and you hadnât known what it was. But because you loved Minseok and you loved seeing him happy, you had watched him introduce her to you with the biggest, brightest smile, one that tore at your heart.
Because you could never make him smile like that.
But that was fine. You were used to it. Being his best friend, you were used to him getting girlfriends and falling in love. You were used to picking up the pieces because thatâs what best friends do. Sure, the times when heâd end up crying into your arms about some girl that broke his heart had you crying yourself to sleep and wishing for something that could never be, but you were fine with that. You had never been a greedy person. You were fine with the relationship you and Minseok had, even if he had broken your heart so many times before. You were good at acting. Good at keeping your feelings locked up inside.
But now, you canât hide the shock in your face, the disgust in your eyes. All you could do was stare in horror as you watch Daeun, the supposed nice and sweet girl who calls herself Minseokâs girlfriend, is kissing another man you donât know like her life depends on it.
It takes a while for both of them to notice you standing there, but when they do, they jump apart immediately, guilt clouding both their faces.
Daeun looks you in the eye, pleading. âY/N,â she says, on the verge of tears. âPleaseâŚplease donât tell Minseok.â
You just stare at her in shock. Does she seriously think that you, Minseokâs childhood friend, would keep something as big as this a secret from him?
âYouâve got to be kidding,â you say, disgust crawling into your voice. âWhy the hell wouldnât I tell my best friend that his girlfriend is cheating on him?â
âIâm not!â she protests, her voice getting higher with shame. âIâm not cheating on him!â
You laugh, gesturing to both their disheveled clothes, messy hair, and swollen lips. âWhat do you call this, then?â
Daeun goes red with shame and anger, her fists clenching. âItâs your word over mine, Y/N,â she says hatefully, all traces of that sweet girl Minseok had introduced to you gone. âIâm Minseokâs girlfriend.â
âAnd Iâm his best friend,â you retort. âI have been for years. Youâve only known him for a few months, and he trusts me more than anyone.â
She laughs, the sound suddenly fueling your anger. âWeâll see about that, she taunts.
You grit your teeth and turn around, not wanting to deal with this bitch of a cheater that Minseok chose to be his girlfriend anymore.
Of course Minseok would believe you - he had to. Why wouldnât he?
âMinseok, I have to tell you something.â
Minseok nods, his eyes fixed on his phone. You sigh - heâs probably texting Daeun. Half of you doesnât want to break his heart, but you have no choice. This is for his own good.
âWhat is it?â he asks, not looking up at you. That annoys you - canât he stop texting his cheating girlfriend for just one minute to listen to what you have to say?
âAt least look at me when you talk to me,â you whine. âThis is really important.â
He nods dismissively, his uninterested face making your heart ache with pain. Yes, youâve accepted that he puts Daeun over you, but it still hurts. âJust say it,â he says.
âMinseok,â you sigh.
âIâm talking to Daeun, Y/N,â he says slowly, as if heâs talking to a child. âSo Iâm kinda busy. Just say it - â
âSheâs cheating on you,â you interrupt, his tone irritating you.
Thereâs a brief silence.
And then laughter.
âMinseok, what - ?â
âDaeun said you would say that,â he says, chuckling. âIâm just suprised she was right.â
Your brows furrow, not liking the way heâs taking the whole thing. âWhat are you talking about? Break up with her, Minseok, sheâs a complete bi - â
âWhat, so you and I can fall in love and live happily ever after together?â he asks scathingly, anger clear in his eyes.
You freeze - not once has Minseok ever used that tone with you in all your years as his best friend. It hurt you - how had he known about your feelings? Had he known all this time?
âMinseok, what - â
He rolls his eyes. âYeah, Y/N, I know that youâre madly in love with me. Daeun told me. She said that youâd say she cheated on me so we would break up,â he looks you in the eye then, disapproval and anger in his face. âI canât believe you, Y/N. How can you do that?â
Your eyes fill with tears as he looks at you with a glare that you never want to see ever again.
âWhy would you say that?â you ask, your voice weak and pitiful. Years and years of pining after your best friend has left your heart a mess, and now, a few words from Minseok have completely destroyed it. âIâve known you for years, Minseok, why would you trust her over me?â
He sighs, looking away from you. âBecause sheâs right. You are in love with me, I just never noticed because youâve always acted like that around me and I thought it was normal for you.â
âMinseok, I - â
âLook me in the eye and tell me you donât love me, Y/N,â he says.
You look him in the eye, but when you open your mouth, no words come out. Your mouth is dry. Youâre a good actor, yes, but this is the one thing you canât lie about - your feelings for Minseok.
âSee?â he says, when youâve stayed quiet for long enough. âShe was right. I didnât want to believe it, but she was right.â
âBut she did cheat on you!â you protest. âI saw her!â
âWith who?â
âWhat?â
Minseok sighs. âWho did she cheat on me with, then?â
You freeze once again. You hadnât known the man she had been kissing so intensely. It had been the first time you had ever seen him.
âI-I donât know,â you mumble.
âYouâre a bad liar, Y/N,â he says. âNext time you want to try to sabotage my relationship for the sake of your own feelings, at least try to be convincing.â
Youâre crying all of a sudden. The tears start to pour, but you rub at your eyes furiously. You canât let Minseok see you weak and heartbroken.
âYouâre so selfish,â Minseok says disapprovingly. âYouâre supposed to be happy for me, not ruin my happiness. I really like Daeun, Y/N, I canât believe you!â
Selfish. You hate that word.
âSelfish?!â you all but screech. âAfter all those years I spent with you, never confessing because I thought we would never be the same again - youâre calling me selfish!?â
âY/N, I - â
Pure anger suddenly fills you. You canât believe that Minseok has just called you selfish.
âYouâre telling me that after all these years Iâve been picking up the pieces of your past relationships, Iâm selfish? Even if my own heart was breaking because you never saw me as anything more than a best friend?â you yell, memories of crying yourself to sleep coming back to you.
âYouâre trying to sabotage my relationship, how is that not being selfish?!â Minseok yells back. He steps towards you, anger in his eyes. But youâre angrier. More heartbroken. âI thought we were friends, Y/N!â
You glare at him, shoving him back hard enough for him to fall. âI thought so too,â you spit angrily. âBut I donât want to be friends with an idiot that puts his cheating girlfriend over someone whoâs been with him all this time.â
Heâs quiet, looking up at you. You see regret in his eyes, as if heâs reconsidering his decision of trusting Daeun instead of you. But itâs too late - heâs hurt you. Heâs hurt you so bad that you donât know if you can recover.
âWhen you find out the truth, donât you even think about running back to me. Donât you dare.â
And with that, you turn and run, your already wounded heart completely shattered into pieces.
Iâm so sorry for not posting in literally forever, guys! Iâve been so busy lately because college has been so hectic and I donât have a lot of free time anymore :( To make up for the hiatus, Iâll try to do a few more requests tonight! I might post them tonight or tomorrow ^^ They might be a little rushed but as usual, if youre not satisfied with them, just tell me and Iâll change them! Sorry again guys, thanks for being patient!
(I hope you liked this scenario, btw! Thereâs going to be a second part to this!)
The rain was pouring and seemed to match the mood today.
âPlease YeSol. Listen to me.â the man sitting on the bench begged the girl he was with. Thankfully, you sat on the other end. It wouldâve been awkward if you sat close to the couple.
They were already here when you arrived to wait for a bus. They were talking in hushed tones at first, but the girl began screaming at him. You almost dropped your phone in surprise when she shouted at them. It seemed as if the more they fought, the harder the rain got.
âNo, Hakyeon! Iâve had enough!â she shouted. âI understand that youâre busy with your career and all, but the least you could is call or text.â
The man, Hakyeon, sighed âYeSol. I-â
âIâm sorry. Weâre over.â
âNo.â Hakyeon stood up and tried to grab YeSolâs hand. âYeSol. We can talk. Please, just-â
âGood bye, N.â she said in a hard and cold voice. She wrapped her coat tightly around her body and made a run for it.
What you couldnât understand was why Hakyeon didnât run after like the clichĂŠ TV shows and movies you see. Instead, he sat back down and slumped in his seat. He covered his face with his hands. You couldnât tell whether he was crying or not. From where he sat, he was getting wet from all the rain since his spot didnât have a roof above him. You didnât want to bother him, but he was getting soaked.
But against your better judgment, you approached him.
âHey.â you said softly, âYouâre getting wet.â
You opened your umbrella and held it over the two of you. He looked up and you could see the sadness in his eyes.
âIts alright. Iâm fine.â
You are never one to insist helping a stranger but he was upset, the least you could do was make sure he didnât get sick. But why did you care anyway? You sat down beside him and held the umbrella up. He looked at you like you were crazy. You probably were.
âYou donât have to do this.â he smiled.
âYeah. But I want to.â
He nodded then looked at you, âYouâre doing this because you feel sorry for me. You saw what happened earlier.â
âHonestly, yeah. Its already a bad day, it would get worse if you got sick.â He seemed embarrassed and you tried your best not to laugh.
âI just broke up with my boyfriend earlier. He cheated on me.â you said, relaying events from earlier that day. You thought it might comfort him knowing that the world was being bad to you too.
Hakyeon smiled and shook his head. He was about to say that you didnât need to come up with a lie to comfort him, but he stopped when he looked at you.
He saw your tear stained cheeks, messy hair, red eyes and ruined make up. But despite this, he also noticed that you were really pretty. You also seemed really nice too. He wondered what kind of bastard would cheat on you.
âIâm sorry.â he said, âIt seems the world is against us today.â
âYeah. The world probably didnât like seeing me happy for once. How about you?â
He didnât miss the pain in your voice, he wondered how much hurt a girl like you could take. It made N wonder why the world was so mean to you.
âI guess the world saw I already had too much. So it took away someone that meant the most to me.âÂ
You nodded and the conversation slipped into surprisingly comfortable silence. N glanced at his watch then back at you. It was still early and he wanted to cheer you and himself up. Or at the least distract you from your worries.
âHey,â he called your attention, âI was wondering if you would like to get some coffee? The bus isnât coming any time soon anyway. Plus, iâd like to get out of this rain.â
âOh, its alright-â
âI insist. Please. Iâd just like to have some company. My treat?â
You couldnât turn him down now. Not with him pleading with puppy dog eyes.
You let out a laugh and nodded, âAlright. But you donât have to pay.â
He smiled and led you to the nearest coffee shop. Despite your protests, he actually did pay for the coffee.
Despite this bad day, you had gotten to meet this nice guy going through similar stuff. I guess its true when something is taken away from you, it is replaced with something better.
