Welcome to Poly-SEKAI

A blog dedicated to sharing YOUR fave ships, fave ship headcanons and friendly ship war polls for Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage feat Hatsune Miku. We recommend you write out all first names at minimum, to try and avoid (more) mistakes on mod end.

I have to note - Headcanons are ALSO ask submissions because I don't know how to do the normal submission thing. Any asks just stating a ship are treated as requests for ship poll.

Please note these rules.

NO DARKSHIPS/PROSHIPS - any of those will be discarded upon sight. Please also refer to THIS POST for what we are refusing to make polls for or accept headcanons for.

RESPECT ALL SHIPS - not everyone has to ship your gays together. Opinions are just that.

POLLS WILL ONLY BE TWO OPTIONS VS EACH OTHER - There will always be a third button for just watching the poll, but it will always only be two ships. That being said, as long as it follows the first rule, all ships are a go!

KEEP ALL HEADCANONS RATED PG-14 AT THE HIGHEST - I don't CARE if they're legal in Japan, I don't CARE if they're 18. Nothing that goes beyond maybe a make-out session. The fandom is LITTERED with people under 18, and the admins PRIDE themselves on being a person they can trust won't expose them to things they shouldn't have to deal with until over 19.

REPEAT SHIPS ARE ALLOWED - Don't worry if the ship has been sent before, feel free to send it again! Repeat ships will be posted at least one month after it's most recent occurrence. This is NOT an invitation to spam our inbox.

PLEASE BE PATIENT - 2 posts are queued for each day (occasionally more), and there are perpetually 30+ asks in our inbox, so submissions will usually take ~2-3 weeks to go through. Please be patient, and thank you for understanding!

RESPECT THE MODS - If the mods make a mistake, please try and use tone tags as you alert them to help us keep the positive vibes of the account!

Blog idea was taken and build upon by a blog we don't know the name of nor do we really want to, who was inspired by user do-you-like-this-pjsk-ship. Concept was technically brought to our attention by user akitoyatism. Blog run by @reverse-moon , @melodyssolarsystem , @songfawn , @mostnormalprosekafan , @lotus-lamps and @us4g1-malwar3 .

ships that have received more no’s than yes’s + the percentages + a bunch of extra notes:

SakiAiriAkiNeneMafu (first of the poly ship of fav from each unit trend) - 40.4% no, 36.5% yes

ShihoRin - 49.5% no, 24.7% yes

AkiKana (x2) - 40.4% no, 36.8% yes / 50.6% no, 34.2% yes

KenNagi (vbs npcs) - 58.3% no, 11.7% yes

AkiAiriShiho - 43.4% no, 36.5% yes

HarumichiKen (vbs npcs) - 50.5% no, 28.4% yes

IchiRui - 46.6% no, 32.8% yes

IchiMiku - 47% no, 35% yes

ShizuAki - 49.5% no, 37.6% yes

RinLen (Stage Sekai) - 49.5% no, 30.9% yes

MikuLen (Wonderland Sekai) - 48.3% no, 37.9% yes

MafuMiku - 50.3% no, 32.9% yes

AkiSaki (x2) - 43.6% no, 41.4% yes / 43.7% no, 37.8% yes

AkiMino - 40.9% no, 40.3% yes (this was a difference of a single vote)

AkiShiho (x2) - 43.7% no, 41.1% yes / 43% no, 39.6% yes

RuiSaki - 45.8% no, 27.9% yes

AkiAiriKasa - 40.9% no, 40.3% yes (again, 1 vote difference)

MafumomKanamom (n25 npcs) - 46.4% no, 34.1% yes

HaruRui - 36.2% no, 32.9% yes

MafuShiho - 39.4% no, 36.4% yes

AkiMafu - 55.7% no, 28.4% yes

and PolyLeaders (IchiMinoKohaKasaKana) tied at 41.3% each (the only other ties i saw were in ship v ship polls so i figured i’d throw that one in)

what can we conclude from this? people don’t like OC x vocaloid, people don’t like m/f ships — specifically with Akito, and people don’t like shipping Ken Shirashi or the Kagamines.

KenNagi being the most disliked (58.3%) hits two of those points + my guess is that at least some people were put off or confused by An calling her “Aunt Nagi” which implies a familial relationship between her and the Shiraishis)

aaaaaaand take all that with a grain of salt. while i did scroll thru the whole blog, i only really paid attention to things that got “no” as the winning option + i went kinda fast so i could’ve missed stuff. there was definitely at least one Ken ship that “yes” won (Ken x Taiga, polled twice) and most in-unit m/f ships + m/f ships involving Mizuki, were “yes”s based on my estimations while scrolling fast. also some repeats changed things. i specifically remember IchiMiku and AkiKana having “yes” winning the one time they were submitted, but not other times

finally: the reason none of these percentages add to 100 is the “watch results” option. in case anyone was wondering, i don’t think “watch results” has ever won a poll.

Oh my god the stats.

The stats are statting. Oh god.

It's not necessary a bad thing, but for Rui and Akito in particular, the ships with non unit mates are nearly all "no, I don't like it" when a lot of them just based on personality would genuinely be close given the chance. It happens with everyone of them, but a lot of fans take the whole "i'm going on a date" lines Saki and An have way to literally (it's a very girly way to just say you're going out with friends). Or the whole "we're partners" for AkiToya. And even the whole "I promise I'll save you" for KanaMafu and the overall of Mizu5 and Ena5 for MizuEna.

Again, it's not bad to be passionate about these ships! I encourage positive passion!! But it's so tedious to see the same ships be virtually only disliked because of fans and then ships like AkiMafu be basically thrown in the garage because of a meme when the literal game paints them as compatible should they add romance.

I dunno. Maybe it just me. But I feel like PjSK shippers close their minds to a lot of potentially really good ships all because they really want their gay ships.
