i have missed you guys too!!! my irl has been (and still is) so hectic, but things are calming down that's why I'm gonna try to come back as soon as possible but at the same time I also noticed the situation over here and was sad to see what's happening. I just hope all of my friends are doing well and taking care of themselves.

I woke up and accidentally opened wattpad, so I was like aight I'll check some fics of other fandoms I'm in... then I came across a DL fic with Yui as a spoiled brat and "bitch" like the hate!??? I seriously don't get it!

you hate yui? okay, keep your opinions to yourself. BUT dragging her down and messing with her character just to make your own character shine is stooping low.

LIKE WHAT BLUNTLY!??? even if her character wasn't very open in anime, she wasn't anything like "spoiled." I can't even bring myself to read such stories because they disgust me. but I still went through the first chapter because I wanted to see comments. you know what made me surprised?!? okay the author might have been young at that time because the story came out in 2017 or maybe they were not young? who knows. but these stupid comments! 2 years ago— idk if people do this to either get in the author's good book or just dumb dumb. Like it's just the first chapter and all it has was Seiji saying the OC "you remember my daughter, your greatest friend, Yui?" and people went full on fucking hate by calling her a bitch in the comments!??? LIKE atleast let her make an appearance and get mischaracterized by such a lovely author :D

Like i thought we got over it a few years ago that Yui is actually one of the best FLs and character out there. if you don't then I suggest you read Dark fate, the writers have actually given her character a good depth.

You are free to write Oc x diaboys story, there is no issue but degrading Yui's character and mischaracterizing her because of why not is so stupid. You don't like her? then don't add her in your story.

Stop spreading Yui hate through stories and mischaracterizing her. People writing such stories just want to create delusional reasons to hate on her because they know it themselves that there is nothing to hate on Yui through games and even anime!

(let's ignore LE, all the characters were messed up which were developed so nicely in DF, because of writers. they didn't even spare Yui)

understandable, I got into anime by that one Ruki thumbnail on YouTube. but after watching it, I got more invested in Yui. tbh, the main goal Rejet had for making DL an anime was to attract audience using the boys' face card, plus it was released way back, a long time ago, when the heroines were mostly faceless or just for the plot. this is also one of the reasons why until MB game whenever diaboys called Yui's name they always addressed it as "you" in voice line. But from Dark fate, their voice line had "Yui" to address her instead of "you."

So yeah, anime was just for marketing and Yui was never prioritised, that's why they made her suffer just to give a briefing about the plot of her having Cordelia's heart and then Karlheinz's Adam & eve plan in season two.

Rejet just made her suffer for their marketing purpose, never expecting that she'll gain a whole fandom over time. this is also one of reasons why her character was never brought into light in anime except in the last ep of MB in the last few minutes.

when did stating your own opinions became rude and uncalled lmao... and plus it's NOT uncalled. as I said I don't hate Ayato, I hate the overhype on him because some people paint him in such way and use unreasonable reasons to put him in spotlight that they make it look like others are nothing or didn't have it rough. when that's not true and such thing can never be compared because trauma have different impacts on people.

help I agree with this one, like what "toxic" every dl boy was toxic from the start because after all the name is "diabolik lovers." even Subaru wasn't that gentle in the start. nonetheless they developed, their character grew but people say it like it's only true for Ayato's case when overhyping him.

and yes somebody told me that I should remove Ayato's hashtag from my post because it's rude and uncalled for like, when did stating opinions became rude???

Dude, I can talk bad about Ayato all I want because he's a damn fictional character and I swear Yui won't care either because she's a fictional character too.

And I don't even hate him, but his fans make me can't stand him. I don't even know where the hell all this supposed "hate" and "misinformation" towards Ayato that her fans talk about comes from.

I mean, I might even bet that Ayato stans here on Tumblr use multi-accounts to make it seem like posts about Ayato get more likes and reblogs.

Ayato is an overrated character, he may be the poster boy but he's not even the best written character in DL, let alone the most interesting. There's a reason why Japanese fans (the ones DL games are really aimed at) prefer Shu and Subaru. Japanese Dialovers prefer to draw Yui with Reiji rather than Ayato, so I don't know where this supposed "popularity" of Ayato or AyaYui himself comes from. 🤷🏻‍♀️

yeah whatever you said, exactly my thoughts. where did misinformation come from? like it's opposite, you all push down so many analysis and ayato facts on us like we did something wrong by saying "he is not that perfect to be overhyped so much" :/

and as I said it cannot be compared who had it worse because trauma is something that can't be compared yet these people in their analysis paint it like "ayato literally had it worse because he was treated like this by this character" so were other boys by other characters :/

all we do is just say that we hate the overhype but they interpret it as Ayato hate. I genuinely have neutral feelings for him like he is okay but we never said we hate him.

I'm not sure about 22 people because we have a lot of people, or maybe you just used random numbers kwjisj, but yeah, what are we gonna get from hating ayato for clout? we are not even interested in him that much.
