Being early risers and night owls at the same time. Him driving with one hand on the steering wheel while the other hand is holding mine. Forehead kisses and back hugs. Pinky hooks and intertwined fingers. Morning exercises and grocery runs. Staying home and cooking our favourite meals. Gaming till the wee hours of the morning. 2am blanket talks about life. Him buying flowers as a surprise. Him being a realist while I am a dreamer. Him learning to be true to his emotions while I learn to be more grounded. Minimalist Scandinavian house which is spotless.

The couple who complements each other; the two puzzle pieces fitting together to form a perfect picture. The couple that everyone is envious of. The couple no one imagined to be together, yet seem to be perfect for each other.

Arcade dates. Couple workouts. Pillow fights. Visiting the animal shelter and refusing to leave unless a dog is following us home. Double dates with our friends and setting them up. Cheesy pickup lines and tickle sessions. Running under the rain and dancing under the stars. Picnic dates and hiking trips. Sending “I miss you” and “I love you” multiple times throughout the day. Movie marathons and loud laughter. Couple outfits and accessories. Him radiating warmth while I calm him down. Japanese house with a warm homely vibe.

The couple that makes you smile; one that reminds you of your puppy love. The couple that screams “we’re a couple!” from miles away. The one where you fell in love with your best friend, your partner in crime.
