always been very left brain oriented, even as a kid. The only creative thing he’s really into is music, and even then he just listens, doesn’t create

tw alcoholism growing up around his dad, Leonard learned quickly to be the punching bag (not literally). Leonard would usually try to distract him from his mum and sister, and when he couldn’t, he would be the one that helped them through the aftermath. He’d usually play games with Aura with music blasting loudly when the fights got really bad between their parents.

the day Aura broke a bunch of glasses with her magic, Leonard spent making sure she was okay. Then, the next day, he did nothing but try to do something like it. He took a bunch of empty beer bottles outside and tried to do the same thing his sister had. After hours, he made one of them crack, and he was amazed and proud. He still has that bottle in his room as a sort of trophy.

tw divorce Leonard was super relieved when his mom finally took the twins away, but it did make things hard for them financially. Leonard saw it as a relief when the twins got to go to Hogwarts mostly so their mom wouldn’t have to spend as much on food during the school year.

During the sorting, Leonard was a hatstall. He was cunning and resourceful like a Slytherin, but also loyal and hardworking like a Hufflepuff. The hat let him choose. Leonard then spent the next ten minutes asking the hat questions about each house, weighing the pros and cons. The hat almost considered Ravenclaw after all that, but Leo ultimately decided being near the kitchens were more practical than being in a dungeon.

after getting used to the concepts of magic, Leo excelled in nearly all elements of it. He would receive O’s on nearly all of his assignments, but he would still worry about how his mum was doing at home. so he decided to put his knowledge to good use.

He does homework assignments for a price. He’ll make your assignments better the higher price you offer him, but he’d also write a failing paper if you stiff him on what price you agreed to. He only needs to know what the assignment is and a sample of your handwriting. He’s amazing at forgery for this reason, just practice with different handwriting styles.

he’s been doing it for years but theres never been enough evidence to prove he does it, since he’s very good at hiding it. Since he doesn’t break any other rules most of the time, and since he usually fades into the background, he’s not usually under any suspicion.

He sends 90% of the money he makes back to his mum, and the other 10% he saves as a precaution.

you’ll almost always see him with headphones around his neck. They’re a beaten up pair of beats by dre from like 2014 but he keeps them as nice as he can since he got them seriously on sale, and the sound quality is great for how old they are.

so yeah, he’s a kind of quiet dude, just doesn’t talk much until you initiate conversation. Then, you’ll reveal a sarcastic little shit.

He’s not very openly emotionally, which is why he has an ex gf that doesnt like him, since he wasn’t really able to open up

if you and he don’t get along, he’ll sass you under his breath so he can easily be like “what? No, I didn’t say anything.” Plausible deniability is like his favorite thing

ever since the bottle incident, he’s been working on his wandless magic, and he’s not great at it, but he can do some super minor stuff without his wand, like if he leaves his water bottle across the room, he can will it to him without needing his wand. Nothing major.

Ex girlfriend he’s on bad terms with- this boy is bad with expressing his emotions, so they probably were fine until she wanted him to be more open and he just couldn’t, so she dumped him. He’d be kind of bitter abut it, honestly lol

Of course, James was born Hallowe’en night 2004 to Harry Potter and Ginny Potter nee Weasley. He is the eldest of three siblings, the others including Lily Luna and Albus Severus.

James is a sweetheart. He loves his family and friends dearly, though he feels extremely anxious about disappointing them with the path he’s chosen to take in life. As the firstborn son of the boy who lived, he has a lot to compare to, at least in the eyes of the media.

Naturally, he knows sign-language because of his sister. He’s grown to truly appreciate the language and the community that comes with it. He hardly ever misses a chance to sign, especially to Lily. Not even when he’s upset will he let her lipread only.

James was placed in Ravenclaw, which at first he thought he would receive a bit of backlash for, but it turns out no one was surprised whatsoever and was proud of him nonetheless.

He realized from his first year on that he loved Charms, and when learning more about the snitch’s origins he also figured out what he wanted to do in life: metal-charming. He spends most of his time outside of class and off the pitch working on blueprints for new designs. He is excellent in Charms, Transfiguration, and Potions alike for this reason.

Speaking of the pitch, he’s one of three Ravenclaw Chasers. He liked watching his mum play for the League as a child and thought it only fair to himself that he try it out as well, also to carry on the family participation in the sport, so he’s been on the team since his 2nd year.

Aside from being a sweetheart and a Quidditch player, James is pretty shy. He gets awkward easily in new conversations he doesn’t initiate, yet at the same time when he falls hard for someone (really any girl in the vicinity who looks his way) he goes, usually creative and slightly antisocial, lengths to let them know. Yes, this does hurt his meek little heart, especially the rejections, but he’d rather face defeat than bottle up his emotions - as if he had that ability anyway.

In summary: James Sirius is a teddy bear and he’ll protect his family and friends fiercely, even though he doesn’t have the physique or attitude for it and is keenly aware. Nonetheless he tries his best to be the big brother his siblings need, the son his parents deserve, the cousin his family likes, and the friend his mates want.

CONNECTIONS:

Xander was born into a family of aristocratic pureblood wizards comprised of both his parents who were well known in the wizarding community in Asia as well as his older brother. 

Despite being his parents' second-born child, he was favored greatly and often spoiled rotten. There was nothing he wanted that he couldn’t have, just by batting his lashes and pouting. He continues to think this behavior will get him anything he wants outside his family, even though that’s not the case. 

He prefers to go by ‘Xan’ and cringes at anyone who calls him by his real name considering it’s mostly used by his parents and professors. 

Since a young age, he had weird premonitions and visions but never truly understood them. He kept this ability to himself and still does considering he doesn’t really want to come to accept that he is a seer. 

His father works as a part of the Ministry of Magic sector in China ( his mother basically a trophy wife and known fashion designer in the wizarding world ) and both he and his brother were raised in China and spent most of their childhoods though they were both accepted into Mahoutokoro School of Magic in Japan, though during his 2nd year they both transferred to Hogwarts due to their parents move to England. 

Xan can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and English proficiently. He also happens to know a little bit of Thai. 

He has a rocky relationship with his brother who he’s constantly being rude to and finding qualms in the fact he’s so clingy. He has no need to establish a relationship with the other considering how different their personalities are. 

He is a grade A-asshole. Not only can he not be trusted, but he’s also self-serving and arrogant fuckboy. He’s not blatantly mean to anyone but he’s snarky and his habit of running his mouth has a way of getting him into sticky situations. 

He bisexual but doesn’t get into relationships easily considering the fact he likes to just mess around with people. Snog and ditch, that’s his motto. 

He acts like a dumbass most of the time but he’s secretly really intelligent and doesn’t want anyone knowing his true strengths so that he can potentially use them against anyone who crosses him. So acting stupid and feigning ignorance is usually his go to. 

Has a dislike for Muggles that he’s inherited from his parents but also finds them fascinating and secretly keeps up with pop culture in the Muggle world. 

He’s only had one serious relationship in the past and he ended up cheating on them and regretted it almost immediately after but would never admit to the fact that he was in the wrong.

Minvera McGonagall is his great-aunt. His grandfather is her brother. His father (Marcellus Gaius or M.G.) was a third year when the Marauders were first years. Guy’s father was 46 were he and his wife, 38, had him. They knew that it could be a risk to have a child at their age, but they’d always felt there was a hole in their lives without a child. When Guy was born, it felt like a miracle--he was a perfect, beautiful baby

Guy was treated exactly how you’d expect a long-awaited child to be treated: doted on, spoiled, and coddled. Needless to say, Guy developed something of an ego. It didn’t help that he was naturally quite charming and had great Quidditch abilities

This has created a sort of complex relationship with his parents--on one hand he loves the attention and the love, and he’s used it as a way to get out of doing work and lift him up no matter how bad his day has been, but on the other hand, he feels like it set him up for failure in the real world--he doesn’t know how to do anything but ride a broom--and he sometimes doesn’t feel like his own person, he feels more like a bit of a whole

It’s also kind of made a lot of his schoolmates think he’s obnoxious and annoying. He’s full of himself and it’s easy to see that he’s used to getting his way

On the other hand, his self-confidence is actually quite contagious, and he’s quick to compliment anything and everything he likes--the way you did your hair today? Yes. How great you did in potions class? Yes. Something funny you said? Absolutely. When Guy likes something, he lets you know, completely unashamed, even if you’re a stranger. Being friends with him often makes you more self-assured

So basically, you either love him or hate him. There’s no in between

Ravened haired and Green eyed, Addie’s beginnings were not ones of fairytales and romance. Her parents were not married though Adelaide was given her father’s surname, and Adelaide has only seen her father a handful of times throughout her life. It had been her mother and herself against the world, and that was how they liked it. Adelaide spent her first years of education, at home. Learning about potions and herbology. When she reached the age of eleven, she had several choices of Magical schools to go to and her mother settled on Beauxbatons.

This past spring, her mother died and because she wasn’t yet seventeen, she was told that she would be placed in the care of her godmother. She was granted to finish out her sixth year at Beauxbatons, but her final year was to be spent at Hogwarts. Super bitter about it. Who would honestly trade the south of France for Scotland??

The sorting ceremony was a humiliating moment for her, considering its for eleven year olds, but she guessed that there were worse things in the world. She was sorted into Slytherin, which she found to be a good place for.

For the most part, she has kept to herself and kept to her studies. She spends a lot of time hovering around the Hospital Wing seeing if there was any help she could provide. She wants to be a healer when she finally graduates.

Justin Finch-Fletchley ended up marrying a muggle woman named Gemma. Gemma is a doctor, and Justin chose to be a stay at home dad when their first daughter was born.

They ended up having three daughters before Jamie came along, and Justin was excited to have some masculine energy in the house.

Boy was he in for a shock.

Jamie was more into cute “girly” things than any of his sisters had been, and he wanted his room painted pink as soon as he found out you could change wall colors when he was like 6.

Justin loves and accepts his son, of course, but sometimes Jamie can feel like he’s disappointed in him for not really enjoying any masculine activities.

Jamie, his sisters, and his mom didn’t even learn about magic until Jamie’s youngest older sister got her letter. Justin’s eldest two were muggles too, so the entire family had a bit of a freak out when they found out.

Jamie got his letter two years later, and he was super happy, since he could relate to his dad on another level... or any level really. Justin told Jamie about the Battle of Hogwarts and Harry Potter and all the stories. Justin did let it slip that he wished he was braver, and Jamie had those words play in his head on repeat until the sorting.

After he heard the sorting song, he knew what he wanted to be in. However, the hat barely touched his head when it started to yell “HUFFLE-”

but Jamie shouted “WAIT!” probably the loudest he’s ever been in his entire life to this day, and the hat stopped. He then whispered “Can I please be in Gryffindor? Please?” The hat was surprised, but corrected itself and sent little Jamie to the red and gold table. Jamie wanted to be brave for his dad, and he figured Gryffindor would be the place to get there.

Jamie is NOT a natural student. He’d barely passed almost all of his classes until he reached third year when he could take electives. He  always loved Astronomy, but it wasn’t until he started taking Divination that he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life. He wants to be come the divination professor at Hogwarts, and he knows how close astronomy and divination are, so he loves both of them.

He’s into all aspects of divination and astrology. His most prized possession is his deck of baby pink tarot cards, and he’ll happily give you a reading if you ask him to.

he never really felt the need to come out of the closet, since he was never really in it to begin with? he never felt like he needed to bring up he was gay, since a lot of his interests and mannerisms always had people assuming so anyway.

until you REALLY get to know him, Jamie is SUPER soft spoken. And if he doesn't like you, he always speaks in a whisper as a defense mechanism.

he loves hugs and cuddles so much. Like if you’re his friend, you could be in the middle of a conversation and he’d be like “Okay, I want a hug!”

his favorite tv show is rupaul’s drag race, and he’s practiced his lip syncing talents since he was twelve.

he loves singing and dancing, though he’ll only do either in front of people he’s super comfortable around, or in frog choir, though he’s never tried out for a solo

he listens to a lot of kpop, and learns tons of girl group dances. Those are basically his only form of exercise.

he’s tried a lot of hair colors over the years, but he really likes blonde, so he’s sticking with it for the foreseeable future (no matter what gifs i have of sungjong lol)

you’d think with how well this boy dances he’d be more coordinated. Nope. Dont throw anything at him, it will hit him in the face. Don’t ask how. He also tends to trip when he gets nervous.

-Callahan was born in California but adopted as a baby to the Collins family of Southern London. His adopted parents were muggles, and it’s unknown if his birth parents were also. Since he considers his adopted parents to be his “real” parents, he considers himself muggle-born. 

-He’s very athletic and loves a good competition. He doesn’t play Quidditch (on the house team at least) because he isn’t very skilled on a broom, but he loves muggle sports, especially rugby and lacrosse. 

-Personal style is preppy with a bit of edge. 

-He is the guy that starts drinking at 10 am when the party is at 9 pm.

-But he’s also the guy that makes sure every girl who’s had too much to drink is safe and taken care of. 

-Outgoing and personable; very popular, especially with other guys. A “guy’s guy” if you will. 

-Friends with a lot of girls but hasn’t quite figured out how to flirt yet. He isn’t too concerned about it. 

-Not the smartest. Doesn’t do well in his classes and is very gullible. He will believe just about anything you tell him. 

-Loves to goof around and be silly. Even oftentimes dangerously so. Who’s that doing a backflip on the edge of the roof? Oh yeah, that’s Callahan. 

-A pure soul. Sees the good in everyone and everything. 

-You can call him Cal. Or Callahan. Or Collins. He doesn’t mind. 

-In fact, he doesn’t mind much. He is incredibly mild tempered and goes with the flow in most situations.
