With the sudden influx of Digital World related discrepancies such as meeting so many digidestined, Kouichi Kimura couldn't help but feel just a bit on edge. Talking to his twin brother, they'd come to the reasonable conclusion that if such people were being gathered, there must have been a reason for it.

Like something strange could be going on for which chosen children might be needed.

Except that while Kouji was a little more cautiously optimistic about such occurrences, Kouichi tended to worry too much about it. Such as he was doing when he received the message to meet at some obscure location. His already occupied thoughts left no room to think of the consequences as the elder brother ran to the designated area on a one-track mind without telling anybody about it.

"Hikari, slow down!"

Hikari laughed, twisting her torso to see her partner running along behind her. Tailmon paused once, expecting Hikari to come back to her, but it didn't happen.

"Don't tell me you're having trouble keeping up," Hikari teased. "With your cat speed?"

"I'm a house cat, not a cheetah," Tailmon replied, and Hikari could have sworn her partner sounded as though she were pouting. She giggled, but she obligingly slowed down. She was in a good mood. It was a gorgeous day, and she'd managed to steal a few hours to visit the digital world. She missed it, even though she knew her not needing to go every other day was actually supposed to be a good thing. She was grateful she could go at all, these days.

"We didn't go that far, did we?"

"I don't think so," Tailmon said. "But--"

"You don't recognize where we are either?" Hikari asked. She wasn't as worried about it as her partner seemed. She had a tendency to sometimes overlook that not all Digimon were peaceful, even if they weren't necessarily taking over the world evil. "It's okay. I don't have to be back for a while, still. We have plenty of time to figure it out, retrace our steps if we have to."
