opinion time!!
i’ve seen a ton of autistic!sam fanfics lately and it’s honestly cool if you wanna hc sam as autistic, but writing him so he’s helpless and basically using a ton of autistic stereotypes to describe him really doesn’t sit right with me- same with hcing other characters from anything with extreme stereotypes of autism, not all people w autism act the same exact way, not everyone is the exact same and it’s annoying to see sam as this stereotype as his whole personality.
tldr use autistic!sam and adhd!max (these 2 are the most common pretty sure) if you want but if you make the stereotype their whole personality i’ll kick ur ass.
