Inspired by @polishedandinspired recent trip to Japan, and my goal of opening some long forgotten makeup, I finally opened this custom ADDICTION eyeshadow palette. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Clockwise from upper left hand corner: 💮 Flash Back 069P 💮 Shangri-La 094ME 💮 Love Affair 021P 💮 Londolozi 081M ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was really psyched to get Flash Back because TAUPE! But I was disappointed by its low pigmentation and poor staying power. 🤦🏻♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, I ended up liking the other 3 shades a lot! Shangri-La, the hot pink, makes a fun pop of colour in the center of the lid or along the lower lash line. 💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Also, you may notice that these photos show usage of the products. I used to get so hung up on only photographing pristine, unused products so I’d stash them away for eons before using them. In a recent video, Emily Noel talked about how great it is to see photos of products being enjoyed rather than in perfect condition, and why not just brands be the ones to show picture perfect shots. 🧐 She had a point!
