KoG has built this entire method and pattern of crafting an ULTIMATE WEAPON THAT IS THE LEGENDARY, and have conditioned users into thinking:
If you want a legendary weapon, the best weapon, the ultimate weapon in the game, you have to put in the time and the effort to make it. Now cough up 5 months and millions of ED for raid tickets.
Unless you got Star Rank in every phase, and/or used hundreds of amnesia ticket (that allowed you to go into raid again for that day, after resetting your score), you literally had to wait until the end of the raid to craft a legendary.
But this paradigm shift is throwing everyone off. Not just the shift itself but the manner of its timing. It’s only been 5 fucking months since Eltrion MK2 Legendary users got to wield it around, only to be smacked in the face and being told that not only their weapon is no longer the best in the game, this new and improved weapon is much easier and faster to get, and much more OP (even disregarding the obvious Lv. 85 to Lv. 95 difference).
Old weapons in a game being dwarfed by newer weapon through new content is nothing new or out of the ordinary, but imagine grinding a super stressful raid that just came out to get the best-in-game weapon and after only 5 months your weapon is shit already... and the game is urging you to replace it.
Well, mind you, +11 or +12 Eltrion or Perkisas legendary is still STRONG.
