RE: Macklemore
To those who have decided to check out my post regarding Macklemore, I'd like to mention that I don't have anything personally against him, I just used the whole image people have of him as an example of how a lot of POC/GLBT people will have allies that speak for them but in the process of do so,Β often through no fault of their own get their voices heard above the people their trying to support.
I have friends that are the best non-assholes, you could care to me, and I'm glad to have their support and friendship
I'll be the first to admit that I've got no real experience arguing social justice and I mainly used the previous post as an excuse to vent for something, that had been bugging me for a while.
