Time passes on earth, or perhaps it is my time that passes before my eyes.⠀ ⠀ Charles reflects on the seasons as he integrates the cycle of the earth's rotation and the matter, here monumental, in which he sees and then shows his work. Light is his main pigment and mankind, as observer and actor in this pic, is, in my opinion, the determining element. I see Land Art as an architecture, in the sense of a construction, which unites man and Nature in its purest form rather than opposing them. ⠀ ⠀ How do you see Land Art? 『•』Art market news 📯😎 @borisgarreau There I am in the auction room looking at this artwork by #magritte that disappeared shortly after my visit to a private collection ✨ For the news to follow: ⠀ ⠀ Sotheby's three major spring auctions of modern and contemporary art, including the collection of Ginny Williams, an american who made her fortune in cable television, will be held this year without an audience and entirely remotely on June 29, 2020. ⠀ ⠀ Oliver Barker, President of Sotheby's Europe will be online and live from London. Auctions will be held by phone and online with specialists in several cities around the world. ⠀ ⠀ This is a first, and given the boom in technology, I tell myself that this would have been impossible five years ago, and even to think about it ten years ago! ⠀ ⠀ I look forward to the results for the #francisbacon triptych estimated at $60 million, #clyffordstill 1947-Y-No. 1, estimated at $25-35 million, and #roylichtenstein 's White Brushstroke I, estimated at $20-30 million 🤯 ⠀ Christie's auction rooms will be open for physical auctions on July 10.
