#ADayForAll 🤗💗 ! It’s not a new thing for me to be talking about my life/ experiences with a learning disability ( #NVLD ) ! It has challenged me (and family/ friends) from day one to think a little differently and to approach things from other angles. It still continues to make things interesting on a daily basis! It’s so easy to dwell on the things that are hard in life because of it, but I feel like because of my NVLD it’s made my job that much more rewarding and makes my connections with students so much stronger ! Thankful for my mom (&some amazing teachers)who advocated for me when I was still finding my voice and now the friends&coworkers who never hold it against me, celebrate successes with me, who make sure I understand, and most importantly... make sure I feel included ! Thankful for the people who are so patient as I navigate life (you know who you are) !
