So often collaborations provide much-needed social opportunities for artists to get together and paint, but to truly integrate the work can be challenging, especially with four artists in the mix—making this small mashup all the more remarkable. A bi-coastal work, this wall on Colyton Street in the LA Arts District was painted in spring, 2017, and a few days later a canvas version went on sale at NYC gallery The Storefront Project. Sharing a single ladder the wall version was knocked out in a day, combining the signature work of: Adam Dare, aka The Bunnyman, and his trademark bunny with heart; Kwue Molly, who’s clever subtitle for this Morton Salt girl adaptation is “It Rains Sunshine”; MDMN, a master of the bold, colorful, comic book style; and Outersource, painter of the starry reaches of the universe. @adamdare @madmanart @kwuemolly @outersource @dtlaartsdistrict
