This was a day that Elwine had been dreading. This littleĀ ācultural exchangeā set up by their Gods--mostly the one from the Garden, she was sure, was now switching gears. For months Froze had stayed within the world of rainbows, with Elwine as her guide and guardian, and now Elwine was to come to the icy angelās home. To say she was displeased by this was quite the understatement. Froze had earned the catās respect with her intelligence and serious nature, but the idea of demons and angels coexisting alongside each otherĀ still made her skin crawl. It seemed a foolish endeavor to her, and one that would lead to the inevitable conclusion of ruin.
This was another world. It in no way effected her or hers, so Elwine had always been one to shrug it off and mind her own business. She wasnāt one to meddle in the affair of others, or care how how they conducted themselves--but now she was to be living in this place for many months to come.
It was going to be difficult.
From the moment she had arrived in the Gray Village she and Froze had been swarmed and it took all of Elwineās willpower not to go beating some of the demons---and even some of the angels she saw. Being a person of personal space and quiet, being treated like a novelty was aggravating to say the least, and the presumptuous manner in which everyone treated her so familiarly was even worse.
Fortunately by now Froze had learned what kind of person she was, and had driven the crowd off. The night had been spent cooped up in her cozy home, and now Froze had led her to BlancBlack Castle (a name that Elwine had greeted with a wrinkled nose).
Froze bid her farewell, letting her know that she would be awaiting her downstairs. Elwine gave a curt nod, before knocking soundly on the door. While she may regard this world largely with disdain, a God was someone she would give her due respect to.
She did wonder what this Etihw must be like.
