Winnie tilted her head at Goni and smiled at the boy. “You say such sweet things. You remind me a lot of honey.” The blonde had a similar penchant for the sticky sweet stuff as her father. 

Hadley finds it extremely difficult to live up to this expectation, and struggles to maintain his happiness. He experiences every emotion, just like everyone else - he just struggles to accept this fact.

This human is far too emotional. Perhaps it is broken.

Despite having this strength, she would never purposely use it on a human. In fact, she actively tries her best to avoid any situation where she might accidentally hurt a human with her strength. 

Her father spoiled her out of love, and fear. He loves her dearly, but he also feared her temper tantrums, which tended to rival that of his wife’s. Her mother spoiled her out of - well, no one really knows. The Queen of Hearts has never really showed anything that could be called love to her children. 

Cassius simply stared at the wound on his hand. He’d never had something quite this serious happen to him before. He was shocked. He’d handled plenty of swords before, but they’d all had protective guards on them. “That’s....oh, shit, that’s a lot of blood.” It was more blood than he’d ever seen before.

Ava looked up at the twinkling stars, reminded of her eccentric parents. “They are quite beautiful. They are made mostly from Earth’s two known lightest elements - hydrogen, and helium.” Her tone was matter-of-fact like, the information coming from her vast memory data base. 

Iris looked from him, to the object, and back to him. “So?” She then reached out and grabbed the heated object. “Doesn’t bother me in the slightest.”
