Music Finds - Local Natives - Coins
Taylor Rice's voice was surely missed. Local Natives took a 3-year hiatus since their last album release of Hummingbird. Their new album, Sunlit Youth, was released earlier this month. Coins, the 7th track of the 12 track album has a colorful distorted lyric video created by Adam Fuchs. Fuchs, the art director of Adult Swim.com, is known for working with Little Dragon, Flying Lotus, and Captain Murphy. The song talks about relationship differences where Rice asks "How much is enough?". The band is currently on tour, check out the tour dates below. Flying Lotus - Such a Square
Moog Sub Phatty: New Machine For Living
Moog celebrates the launch of their newest analog synthesizer, the Moog Sub Phatty, by calling on the talents of Brainfeeder head honcho Flying Lotus and Adult Swim animator Adam Fuchs. Together, they have created an animated short entitled 'New Machine for Living,' taking us along for a kaleidoscopic exploration of the product's circuit boards. The visual is set to the soundtrack of Flying Lotus' 'Such A Square,' which saw him using the new Moog machine to create the original score.
