A screencap redraw for Mushishi week day four! (Original below the cut)
When I started working on my fan comic I collected a bunch of screenshots of this room (because they spend a lot of time in it in my comic) and I'm just really fond of this interaction.
Here we finally are.. 🤩 The conclusion of a comic that was only meant to be 5 pages long when I started working on it - over six years ago - as a way to relieve exam stress..

I hope it’s a satisfying end for you guys! I would like to thank everyone who read it, and a super special thanks to the ones who left such excited comments <333 I’m so grateful and happy you felt so invested in this story!!
This has been such a journey.. And I’m not quite finished yet. I actually plan to redraw pages 1-8 (because only from page 9 on I feel like I used a somewhat consistent style), fix some other inconsistencies in backgrounds and such, and make a cover. The thing is, it would be pretty cool if I could make a nice whole and then make a physical thing of it.
I entertained this thought before, and some of you already showed interest in buying that, which is really cool!! But yeah, I have some work to do before it’s ready for that so you’ll hear from me in a bit I guess! :))

I really like this one.... I’m not home tomorrow, so I might just make some ink observation sketches on the way :) In my head Adashino and Ginko met for the first time as teenagers, and it was love at first sight for Adashino heeh <3
