Hey Callie! I’ve been reading the witcher short stories, and I bought Witcher 3 yesterday. Should I play it before watching the show?
Since the show is a book adaptation you certainly don't have to play the games to be in the know for the show but TW3 definitely is a fun sandbox game to get you better acquainted with the world. And just an fyi, there are a few but big book spoilers in the games since the games take place after the books.
Hi David! Or maybe I should say Mr. Peterson? I don’t want to sound rude :) I’m fascinated by conlags since always, and as a writer I always pictured my stories with some conlags in it. I decided to buy The art of lang invention to see if I could get myself to at least try to create a lang, but, nop. Me and phonetics, morphology, etc are natural enemies. I’m an ace in history tho! So, I just have a quick question: what can a writer like me do if they need a conlag? Thanks!!
You can always check out the Conlang Jobs Board! There are literally thousands of language creators, and many want to get paid work. You can post jobs on the Jobs Board and get usually a dozen or so responses within a couple of days. I definitely recommend it!

Just saw all the pics for netflix’s The witcher. Not sure about Yennefer, like, not sure at all. Cavill looks beyond amazing tho :D
It’s all gonna boil down to her acting. I think she’ll surprise us. If they were willing to go so out of the box and cast someone that doesn’t fit the character description then I have to believe her acting chops are phenomenal and that’s what Yen needs more than anything. I hope Anya kills it.
