Honestly, Hal was one of the last people she wanted to think about. It was one thing to think about someone like JohnSprite, where she could talk about him to someone else (Clears throat, Frenchie) and they sort of understood. She couldn’t even broach the subject because that was his family, and Zack would say pretty much the same thing about anything with it came to her talking about this sort of thing. 

Her head had trailed from one thing to another to another, until she landed on something she recalled from talking with JohnSprite, actually. When she was looking for ways “around” death… 

… Brain scans and robots… Gosh, it sounds cool, but a little creepy? And he already pretty much hates me, at least as far as I know, and he likely has a right to be, right? I mean, I’m his pale relation’s ex (God, I hate that phrase…) So I’m automatically the bad guy. Not to mention Frenchie and I are close which is apparently why he hates me to begin with… What if it happens. What if by some string of events, I’m at his mercy or what have you… What if I die and JohnSprite actually convinced him to help… What would he do to me? 

From there things started to take a tailspin into more detailed scenarios she didn’t really like. If that was the case, she wouldn’t have a say of protest in the matter. What if he changed her somehow? Mentally? Or physically if he had to build a body or something? Was that how it worked? What if he didn’t even make her human again? What if he just kept her on a flashdrive or something? Or worse. What if he made her into a dog or wolf since he seemed to like them so much.
