I love this beautiful weirdo. Each tendril was soldered in place, one at a time, and then sculpted by flame into shape. Because of the challenge of working around those delicate tendrils, the tiny spark of a sunstone was painstakingly hammer set in its itty bezel. The first version of this pendant was an utter failure, but I was so determined to make the design work I set it aside and started again. I think that’s why I like it so much - it feels so good to let go of preciousness/time spent/whatever and see actual progress as result of letting go.
