Day 1 after #ActsTeensCamp20 and Day 1 (out of 14) of the #MovementControlOrder (MCO) by Malaysian government, to fight the spread of COVID-19: So I stayed home all day with my family, and what did I do? Well, besides being with my family, taking care of our baby #ZyraYeoh and keeping 4-years+ #ZyonYeoh occupied (who helped cook all 3 meals today, by the way! So proud of our boy!) and trying to work-from-home... my work included coordinating our #ActsTeens Team and our response to the #MCO which restricts public gatherings, as well as our immediate follow-up to what God has done in and through the Camp. We are living in unprecedented times, so we have also responded in unprecedented ways. All day, and as a follow-up to an amazing Camp, the #ActsTeens team of leaders and facilitators were preparing our teens to get onto their Bible Apps and start on a devotional plan. In small groups, everyone got into the pre-determined plan to complete the devotionals together. All day, I've been getting "Friend Requests" on my Bible App! Sort of a mini-revival eh? Teens who didn't even have the App before, now have the Bible in their phones! The idea is to follow the devotional plan daily in small groups. The small group leaders will initiate a video conference call with their small groups respectively. At the time of this post, already close to 30 small groups have made their conference calls to discuss and reflect on today's devotion! I personally joined 4 of them just to see how things were going and what we could improve on. I was blessed in every single of one of them! The teens were so eager to get on call, and connect with each other and their leaders. And most of the teens did read their devotional materials prior to their call and had answers ready. So encouraged and inspired to hear our teens' insights. And felt so proud watching our leaders and facilitators facilitating each call with such heart, such love, and such sensitive and spirit-led leadership. Really, Team, you all are the best! I am so privileged and proud to be serving together with all of you!
