I wonder if how firm a tv actor's contract is if a character is killed off. Like okay, their character is off the show, but what if the writer plans flashbacks during the season. If the show has a supernatural theme would a ghost version count as the same character
MOVIES SHOOT in INDIA
MOVIES SHOOTS in INDIA Hello everyone. Would be glad share my experience from movies shoot in India and other foreigner actors who was in Indian movie industry as well. Actually not only actors: stunts, dancers, performer, singers, mc and so on. To be honest I met quite a lot people there from all over the world, and collected quite a lot of differend interesting information about, what I posted in previous video. Here I more share my personal experience what might be interesting and maybe useful for someone who decite to work in Indian movies industry as any kind of talent. Injoy the storyes from movies shoot in India. Â
Iâm curious can you be contracted for only one episode but pre film scenes for different episodes?? Or would that mean signing on for more eps and more money?
Actor contracts are hella complicated. A "main character" isn't a contract term and is more determined by the writing and audience perception. Ex: frozen crew prob got more screentime than belle but belle is seen as main character. Contactually, cast are series regs now. Next step down would be recurring character, then guest star. Terms roughly equate to how many eps they're in per season. Money made by actors is always determined by star power
2. So of Mery Streep was a guest star she would make more per ep than series regs but be in fewer eps. Jmo could become recurring and get a raise as a sort of compromise. She makes more money per ep and is less tied down and the show saves money. Iâm legit concerned thatâs where we are headed
Okay this is interesting! Â Iâm not sure why this would be a concern though, I still think itâs great that the current rumor is that sheâs coming back at all. Â Thatâs a lot better than her leaving IMO. Â I guess weâll see what happens.

Also, I found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talent_holding_deal -Submitted by Soile Interestingly, Jessica Steen was under this type of âcontractâ when the Stargate: Atlantis series was in the pre-production phase. Steen had already protrayed Dr. Elizabeth Weir in the Stargate: SG1 episodes and the producers were ostensibly going to continue with her in the role, but later chose to cast Torri Higginson as Dr. Weir for Atlantis, instead. So even though Steen was paid to not take on any new work in anticipation of the new series, it was all for naught, since she didnât end up continuing in that role. (Which must have really sucked for her, but whatever. The debate still goes on to this day about why the producers ultimately chose Higginson over Steen, but we wonât get into that here.)
