THE SPIRIT BOX: Virgil Osborne is an ordinary man with an ordinary life. Him and his ex wife share custody of their young daughter, Vanessa, and it happens to be Virgil’s week to look after her. The father and daughter decide to play a game of hide and seek in Virgil’s new home- an old house he’d gotten for a steal, almost nothing, from his real estate agent. Vanessa finds a strange wooden box in the attic, where she was hiding, and hands it off to her father to take care of. When Vanessa leaves for her mother’s, Virgil opens the box, and is possessed by the spirit of someone who had been trapped inside for centuries. Vanessa and her mother begin to notice Virgil acting strange, and must try to figure out how to destroy the spirit within him, in order to save him, and themselves.

APEX SON: Set in the near future, something strange is going on on planet Earth, and Sampson J. Medina seems to be the only one to notice. It starts with strange headaches, and what he assumes are delusions. He sees his doctor and is prescribed medication after medication, but nothing seems to be working. Unsettling faces and unknown beings begin to reach out to him in unknown languages, and Sam begins to realize he can understand them. Now too afraid to leave his house, he must keep himself safe from these things he is sure are there to hurt him. Little does he know that he is one of them, and they are trying to bring him back home.

THE WANDERER: The knife is the glove box is for pleasure. Name unknown, the Wanderer travels to different towns, different cities, picks up men and women from bars, tracks down his prey, and kills them for fun. Can anyone stop him? Keep a watchful eye for him in the shadows- there’s nothing more deadly than a charming man.

WINSTON: His depression gets worse the longer he is alive. And unfortunately for Winston, he has burned bridges with nearly everyone who might be able to help him. It’s one night that he finds himself face to face with a drunken patron down an alley. The screaming that is pointed at Winston really pushed a button. With his dull pocket knife, he stabs the other man to death, and realizes shortly after, with blood on his hands, that he feels better. Happy, even. With a smile, Winston continues on to kill and kill and kill, to keep him happy and keep him smiling.

JEKYLL & HYDE: The classic tale- with a twist. Hyde Langford made money by participating in experiments. Some safe for humans, and some not. He found that they paid more for early stages of human testing, and so the man never questioned it. This experiment-named only Trial 629- would pay $5,000, and with the debt he was in with his landlord, there was really no way he could refuse. Perhaps he should have known it was a bad idea when he showed up and he was the only one there, but there were dollar signs in his eyes, and no reluctance to change into a doctor’s gown and wait for the test. He doesn’t remember most of it. The experiment will come in parts, but he feels fine in the following days. One morning, however, Hyde wakes up, hair still wet from a shower he doesn’t remember taking, to find bloodied and dirtied clothes left neatly in a laundry basket on top of the washer. Instances like these happen over and over. Hyde begins to see murders on the news, and he has dreams of himself killing people, that he now knows are a reality. Hyde seeks out the lab that has done the experiment, but finds no sign they were ever there. Now, Hyde must fight the lust-filled, bloodthirsty alter ego threatening to take over his mind and body, before it’s too late.

his name in actor au is kiya, because i felt compelled to choose a name starting with either r or k, the stressor points in riku’s name. the translation for the characters 輝 (ki) 夜 (ya) is bright night, which i think still fits into riku’s motifs pretty well.

he’s japanese polynesian, raised in hawaii with no intention to actually enter the media scene but he was scouted for his appearance and ! how compelling he looked in a silver wig ( one of his modelling gigs ). modelling was something that he did on the side to earn some money. he wants to study marine biology overseas, and still does.

a decent percentage of his earnings go to marine life / ocean / animal preservation charities. he’s very soft, loves animals. even though he doesn’t jump at the chance for more acting roles, you can constantly see him casted to help with these kinds of charities and organisation in ads.

k/ingdom hearts is more of a side venture, as kiya does very little concerning media outside of it. he’s done a few voice acting roles for anime and video games, capable of doing both the english and japanese roles. he’s made some cameos in other shows and movies, but he mostly does modelling.

kiya has a very versatile and gifted way of sliding into characters that are cool, charismatic, and it often surprised people how well he could play a villain because the real kiya is very soft spoken, shy, and awkward. the way kiya is mirrors the personality of riku in the first two games, in that the more kiya submerges himself into this character the more confidence he gains in himself. whereas his character, riku, lost a lot of his confidence after the first game.

he sometimes brings his pet cat to the set, shiro is kiya’s emotional support animal he relies on when this kind of work gets overwhelming. she is adored on set. he really is talented at what he does, but he is an introvert and he’s not a natural in this business. sometimes he needs to pull away from the spotlight.

because of this he is notably absent from social media. he’s something of a cryptid, because he doesn’t mind people taking pictures of him for their accounts and snapchats, but he won’t make one of his own. he most likely has a twitter made at the behest of his coworkers, but his account isn’t verified so sometimes his fans cannot tell it’s really him, especially since he has a very bare bones profile. when he responds to their messages, they’re shocked and sceptical.

he is constantly sleepy, naps between scenes. easy to play pranks on. in constant need of coffee and make up to appear more awake. it’s ridiculously annoying how pretty he looks even when he’s fried.

kiya inconveniently did break his wrist during the filming of kh ii during an attached promotional photoshoot — riku was supposed to appear in his true form much sooner than he did, but that was altered so kiya could have more time to heal. because of this ansem’s actor had more screen time than intended.
