Admission: A nightmare
Now you may have known I am an irregular student. Yup, delayed but still here trying to finish my studies. I am now a Computer Engineering student but my admission is not as smooth as I expected. There was a miscommunication between the Department and Guidance counselling Office, it cost me few weeks of delay of my admission. I was delayed for 3 weeks in all of my subjects and I have to do my best in order to keep up with so much activities that I missed. Pandemic is also a factor since if only I could follow-up my status without restrictions and without having to spam chat/text the guidance adviser that could potentially think of me as a nuisance. Pandemic complicates everything; I really hope it ends soon. I was also worried since when I talk to the school authorities who took my issue that I might not be able to enroll for this school year. That gave me so much anxiety thinking that I may waste another year of my life without able to take university. An experienced of real evidence of how stressful shifting could be and the disadvantages of being an irregular student. Thankfully, and I would like to dedicate also this entry to thank Ma’am Heidee Soliman our adviser who really helped me throughout in taking care of my problem. She helped me all throughout and guided me about the processes until I was officially admitted in this course. Things could have turned to worst if she did not help me, and it was really hard to find someone to guide me because during that time I was so confused. I was like a child not knowing what to do. It was a long 3 week and a very stressful one but I am so thankful that I am here writing this vlog in one of my subjects that I am taking, I made it through it all and I will continue. Now my goal is to work double and to catch up in all the classes that I missed.
