Whenever you start up your game, everyday, four fossils spawn, with one pitfall seed. I hate it with a passion.

I went up to the top corner of my town a few weeks ago to put an end to this. (See picture, sorry it sucks)

The buried item in the corner between the fence and the cliff is the pitfall seed. Since it's buried somewhere in my town, no more will spawn. And it's out of the way so I'll never run over it ever again.

The other three buried items, I'm testing to see if gyroids will spawn, bc I get a bit annoyed when they spawn while looking for fossils. I will update this whenever it rains and I can see if they spawn!

So I’ve been on ACNL for almost a year now (as of the end of this month) but I’ve been playing on and off but the I’ve been very active the last few months.

I used to struggle figuring out easy ways to get bells (as my town is still super underdeveloped) but if you have the island unlocked then go on tours!

I go on tours to collect fruit, bunch them into baskets of 9 and then sell them back at ReTail. Basically that’s an easy 100,000 bells right there (more if any if the island fruit is selling at premium) and only takes around 30 minutes. You can usually make 6 baskets of 9 per tour.

Scavenger tours, garden tours, bug-catching tours are the best ones to go on as they’re 5-6 minutes and let you wander around for fruit!

So for an example a silver nugget sells for 3,000 bells. But with this rule, you can sell it for 4x(-1) of that. So, 4x3,000=12,000

12-1=11,999. So sell that silver nugget for 11,999 bells. This can apply to any item you can put on the blue pallets at retail (so no fish/bugs/sea creatures).
