So I’m now a fully qualified teacher (party time). A lot of stress is finally gone now that I’m qualified and I start my summer job on Saturday.

My longest intact streak was 27 weeks, from October 2021 to May 2022, and I'm on my second longest streak right now at 15 weeks since June.
This is the longest I have ever committed to anything, and I'm really proud of myself! I'm far from fluent, but I'm more competent now than ever despite taking like a dozen Spanish courses throughout elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. I never progressed beyond introductory stuff until I started Duolingo, and now I can read it well enough that I've started buying Spanish language copies of my favorite books (my goal is to work towards a Spanish edition of a book I've never read before so I can fly without a net).
I can hold childish conversations with fluent speakers. I'm talking toddler level stuff; I can understand a lot of what they're saying, but I can't translate my own thoughts into Spanish yet, so it's really slow going. I got put in my place the other day, not once but twice, when one of the maids and later a customer started speaking to me in Spanish at the speed of light. I was so confused, I couldn't understand a word, I had to stop them, "mas lento, por favor. Mi español es malo. Solo lo hablo un poco." I'm very good at apologizing. I've got that down pat.

I think I'm often a bit harsh on IDM albums but this one really pulled me over. Compared to other IDM projects I listened to, it seemed rigid in it's approach while keeping a nice variety of sounds with beautiful melancholic songs and brighter more fun ones. Overall I liked the first half more but it was a great album overall

I've been working on achievements for the retro game "Animorphs" on Gameboy Color today, I dont like the game personally, but it teaches me the tools and is really easy to understand the code of, still need debugging but its going well so far, will give screenshot on a later post
