Can you do a part 2 to the Geoff one you wrote yesterday??
pt 2 to this
You wake up to the sound of birds chirping in a choir. Sun was shinning through the cloth that shaded the window. You grab a pillow and throw it over your head.
“Ugh,” You definitely weren’t feeling the morning today, your body hurt all over and you felt a little dizzy. You could barely put the pieces of what happened yesterday together. You do remember Geoff though..
Geoff!
You turn to the other side of the bed frantically; it was empty but there was indents that proved that someone died end up staying the night. This was your house. “Geoff?” You call out worried, many scenarios running through your mind. Most of them bad, ending in something awful happening to Geoff. You waited a little while, but there was still no response. He must’ve left early in the morning.
Well fuck, he wasn’t the first guy to do that.
With a sigh and regret, you swing you legs over your bed and force yourself out. Better face the day you though to yourself. You walk your way over to your kitchen; something felt... different. You notice a pan in the sink and a plate with foil over the top on the countertop.
‘Sorry, had to leave for work! Here’s some breakfast and my number..’ A note had read upon closer inspection. You felt the corners of your mouth dip up into a slight smile. This was sweet, real god damn sweet. Too bad today was the beginning of your two days off so you wouldn’t see him at work but there was nothing stopping you from going there as a patron..
As you ate the breakfast Geoff had previously prepared for you, you thought of ways to spend your day. Geoff usually want to the bar at six, it was nine in the morning now so you had at least a few hours to waste. A few hours too long. Geoff felt like what you had been missing throughout your entire adulthood; he was funny, enthusiastic and you often had heart-to-heart conversations much more than you would without any other customer.
You decide to pamper yourself, giving yourself extra time in the bath surrounded by layers of bubbles and a few bottles of wine. It’s been awhile since you’ve been able to treat yourself like this, you were constantly working or worried about other people. Something changed in you last night, and you weren’t exactly hating it either.
You managed to get through a few books that you’ve been meaning to read before you get ready to meet Geoff. You texted him, telling him to be at the bar at the normal time.
You picked out a pair of tight-skinny jeans, a crop-top and a pair of your favourite boots. You even did your makeup more dramatic than you normally would, “vampy” as some people would call it.
You began to grow more nervous as the time approached. What if he didn’t turn up? What if he’s already found someone else? It didn’t help that you were already on your way to the bar, a few minutes before six so you could settle in a little before he arrived. You wouldn’t call this a date... but it could be perceived as one..
“Back to hook up with someone new, are we?” Your co-worker approaches you with a soft smile. “Nah,” You respond, sipping your drink anxiously as your eyes searched the bar; it was already getting full and there was no sign of your tattooed man anywhere. “Oh, well have fun! And drinks are on the house,” He winks at you, nodding behind you and walking away.
“Well hey there, mind if I sit here?” He motions to the empty stool next to you. “Go ahead,” You insist, biting your lip. He sits down and orders his usual, whiskey.
“Don’t you go for anything different, like anything at all?” You question.
“Nup,” He sculls his drink “But I do want to try something different.”
“Oh and what’s that?”
He places his glass on the counter-top and stares at you. His eyes full and happy. From the whiskey or you; you couldn’t tell but you definitely came up with answer after he leaned forward and gave you a gentle kiss, reminiscent of last night.
