friendly reminder this pride month that while ppl who use pan are still part of our community, they are also championing a label created out of bi and transphobia,,,, so pls remember ur essentially shitting on bi and trans ppl with the 'pan is the most valid and inclusive label' bullshit and i think its time we as a community started recognising the harm it perpetuates rather than just ignoring it with 'let people live / pan is valid / use what label makes you happy'
ultimately fading out of the pan label would be better for our community, and for ppl who id as pan (who usually are dealing w internalised lgb phobia). Its important to have labels that have meaning that is relatively consistent between individuals in order to build a community around, rather than pan ppl tearing bi ppl down all the time, and inappropriately including every cunt and their dog into the lgbt community
