Unfortunately, Aces High by Iron Maiden is *not* about asexual people doing drugs :(
The title caught my eye-- and--
Coincidence or deliberate reference?
(I genuinely don't know. Was this ever discussed somewhere?)
doing an inktober challenge this year maybe…. perhaps
@ssshiversss
Liza Minnelli and chorus perform the number Aces High, featuring choreography by Ron Field, in the United Artists/Martin Scorsese romantic musical drama New York, New York, 1977. Liza's gowns in the film were designed by Theadora Van Runkle and her hairstyles created by veteran Hollywood hairdresser Sydney Guilaroff, who also had a cameo in the movie as (of course!) a hairdresser. It's of interest to note that Guilaroff created hairstyles for Minnelli's mother Judy Garland in the films The Wizard of Oz (1939), Ziegfeld Follies (1945), Till the Clouds Roll By (1946), Words and Music (1948), Easter Parade (1948), The Pirate (1948), In the Good Old Summertime (1949), Summer Stock (1950), and also for A Star Is Born (1954).
