A 6ª edição do prêmio ACIM de Esportes movimentou a cidade de Maringá. A cerimonia teve 243 homenagens, sendo 27 patrocinadores, 27 técnicos e 189 atletas. Tiffany Suzawa, da seleção Brasileira e do time de Maringá, foi o destaque do Softbol e ganhou o prêmio de destaque da modalidade.

Neste final de semana (23 e 24 de Novembro), a ACEMA, em Maringá, recebeu a 24ª edição do Campeonato Brasileiro de Softbol, categoria Sub-13. Maringá fatura o XXX Campeonato Brasileiro Sub19

Neste final de semana, o Maringá superou as dificuldades e venceu o Nikkey Marília por 3 a 1 e ficou com o título do XXX Campeonato Brasileiros Sub19, jogando em casa, na ACEMA. Chrissia Catalan, do Nikkey Marília, foi a melhor arremessadora da competição, Amanda Murakami, Central Glória, a melhor rebatedora, e Tiffany Suzawa a melhor jogadora do Campeonato.

Seleção brasileira Sub19 intensifica treinamentos para Copa do Mundo

No último final de semana (11 e 12 de maio), a Seleção brasileiras Sub-19 se reuniu na ACEMA, em Maringá, para um intenso treinamento para se preparar para a Copa do Mundo de Softbol Feminino Sub19, que acontecerá entre os dias 10 e 17 de Agosto, em Irvine, na Califórnia, nos Estados Unidos.

Equipes participantes: Atibaia, Maringá “A”, Maringá “B”, Gecebs, Nippon Blue Jays, Central Glória, Nikkey Marília e Nikkei Curitiba.

Ao mesmo tempo, que acontecia o campeonato Sub17, foi realizado um festival Sub11 como forma de incentivo para as atletas que estão com idade entre 10 e 11 anos. Foram realizados dez partidas e uma atleta de cada equipe participante foi premiada como destaque e todas jogadoras ganharam medalhas. Participantes: Maringá, Central Glória, Nippon Blue Jays, Nikkei Curitiba e Nikkey Marília.

No caminho para o título da Taça Brasil Sub17, o Nikkei Curitiba perdeu o primeiro jogo de sábado para Maringá “A”, por 5 a 1 e na sequência bateu o Nikkey Marília por 7 a 0, conseguindo ser o 2º melhor colocado e passar para a chave Ouro. No domingo, venceu a semifinal contra o Nippon Blue Jays por 4 a 1 e na grande final teve sua revanche vencendo Maringá “A” pro 3 a 2.
