What do you like for breakfast? Weekdays I only have coffee for breakfast, which I know is not healthy, but I’m just not a morning person and can never get my act together to make breakfast. But I love all breakfast foods, pancakes, waffles, eggs any style, bacon, homefries, toast, oatmeal, etc. I love all that stuff.

Do you have a favorite or most-fondly-remembered book from childhood? My most favorite children’s book is The First Two Lives of Lukas-Kasha by Lloyd Alexander. But I adore children’s books. I also love The Phantom Tollbooth, the Narnia Chronicles, and The Westing Game, just off the top of my head. I could talk about children’s lit all day.

Are you right or left-handed? Proud leftie!

Do you have a favorite mug/cup? Describe! I am still on the hunt for the perfect mug. I have a lovely mug I use at home that my husband gave me that is decorated with crows. It’s lovely but the handle is too small.

What’s your patronus? I feel like I should pick a hedgehog or an otter, but neither seem like particularly good patronuses (patroni?) to me. I think a great big cat, like a tiger or a panther.

Who would you want to play you in the film version of your life? Hmmm….Olivia Coleman maybe? If she could do an American accent? I don’t think I really look like any celebrity.

Do you like talking on the phone? Ugh, no.

Is there a fandom you’ve not written for (or read much in, if you’re not a writer) that you’d like to get into? I’ve read just a couple of Kingsman fics and I liked them, so I would probably read more of those. But I’m pretty happy with Sherlock and Inception as my primary sources for fic.

What do you most wish you knew how to do that you’ve never (or not yet) learned? I wish I was more adept (and by that I mean at all adept) at learning other languages. I also have a vague wish to learn to play guitar, but I don’t think strongly enough to do anything about it.

Do you paint your nails? Nope and I keep them cut as short as possible.

What is your superpower or superhero name? My friend went through a phase of drawing superhero characters of all her friends. I was deemed “The Grudginatrix” because I will hold on to a grudge for you so you don’t have to. Did some guy do you wrong? Move on and get over him, I will despise him forever on your behalf. In other words, don’t mess with my friends.
