🥖Accidentally Engaged . Reena’s family is constantly meddling in her life and when a new guy moves in across the hall from her, she realizes they have something to do with that, too. They want her to marry him so, of course, she doesn’t want to. But she DOES like him. When an opportunity comes along where she needs a fiance for a cooking competition, she decides to ask him if he’ll fake it with her. We all know how those stories go, though. . I’m realizing that I like books with cooking aspects and this is no exception. All the talk about bread really did it for me. The best part of this story, though, was seeing Reena’s complicated relationship with her family unfold and change. I definitely related to being caught between family members who don’t communicate with each other and the stress and unnecessary drama that can cause so seeing them try to work through that was interesting. That being said, I didn’t feel super connected to the relationship. I can’t pinpoint specifically what it is that made me feel this way but I was just more invested in Reena as an individual. I think the third act conflict is a bit convoluted but it is really the catalyst for Reena to really start talking to her family and I liked the outcome of it. . #Romance #Contemporary #ContemporaryRomance #AccidentallyEngaged #BookReview #BookRecommendations #BookBlogger #BookBlog #BookishCommunity #Bookstagrammer #Bookstagram #Bibliophile #BookishLoveGroup #BookishLove #ReadersOfInstagram #Reader #Books #Book #Bookworm #Bookish #BookNerd #InstaBook #BooksOfInstagram #BookPhotography #Read #BookLove #BooksBooksBooks #InstaBooks #IGReads #BookCommunity https://www.instagram.com/p/CQRdoAsLTaD/?utm_medium=tumblr
