The motel room isn’t exactly luxurious, but it’s not a campsite and it’s not the Regalia, so it does have its perks.

The couch springs squeak as Ignis sits down, and he’s only intending to sit for a few moments. If only because he’s fairly sure that if he even looks at it for too long, it will throw his back out and he still has to drive in the morning.

That’s the intention, at any rate. It doesn’t take long before he starts to doze. When he winds up leaning against Prompto’s shoulder, it’s less a conscious choice, because he’s only debatably conscious at that point, and more just a consequence of Prompto sitting beside him and 14 hours of driving.
