This is work has been done today is that I used photoshop to crop out the letters over the image. The tools I used to crop out letters over the image are quick selection tool, layer via cut, layer via copy. 

This weeks targets were:

1. For us to develop our new song called Innocent Child.

2. To go through our other songs.

3. To agree on our final arrangements of “Stand By Me”

On Tuesday we continued to develop our original song “Innocent Child”, we added percussion and today (Thursday 10th November) Louis wrote and performed a melody to add to the chorus: [BABABABAF*FEF*FE]. We went through our other songs and agreed on the final arrangements for “Stand by Me”. Today we had a run through of “Three little birds” and “dangerous world”, we also decided to develop some new ideas onto our songs so that we can send them to vicki to add drums and practice in time for our dress rehearsal and Gig.

This weeks targets were:

1. To practice all songs as a set.

2. For Tan to practice playing the guitar for “three little birds”.

3. To agree on our last song.

4. To practice for our dress rehearsal.

This tuesday Vicky joined us again and played the drums for the songs that we are practicing, Ahmed also tried out a new idea to play on the keyboard. Tan has started to play the guitar and is contributing to the melody on “three little birds”, however one of our targets are for Tan to practice the guitar more. We have decided to agree on our last song possibly being an original which myself and Sapna will help write. Terry told us about the gig that will be happening on the 17th of November at the Latest Music Bar, he also told us about our dress rehearsal that will take place on the 22nd of November. We will stand in a line on stage in front of a small audience and practice performing our songs as a set so we are more prepared for what could happen in the future. 

This weeks targets were:

1. To rehearse the songs without the lyric sheets.

2. To practice facing forwards so we get used to the idea of performing at gigs and other live performances.

3. To work on the tempo of the songs because sometimes we can go too fast.

4. To work on vocals.

5. For Ahmed to work on the reggae technique on the keyboard. 

6. (stand by me) - Hindi words

7. (keep the fire burning) - add rap

On tuesday Vicky joined us and played the drums to “stand by me” and “dangerous world”. Nigel also joined us and suggested that we should have some backing vocals and they both helped us develop “dangerous world”.
