It was a regular Friday. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and you was free from work for three whole days. With your free days off you had already booked yourself into your favourite tattoo studio downtown. You’ve been waiting a whole month for this appointment, with The Boyz tattoo studio being the most popular in the city and your favourite. You was lucky enough to only have to wait a month, most have to wait longer, but having a couple contacts helps. Your cousin being one of the artist that work there, Kevin Moon.

With your shoulder bag packed with your phone, purse and keys, you leave your apartment and head downtown, the butterflies in your stomach. You wasn’t nervous about getting the tattoo, since it would be your sixth one, but nervous about seeing him.

 Kim Sunwoo. He was another artist and trusted piercer at the studio, but every time you looked at him, you fell in love. The boy was neck to ankles in ink, both ears full of piercings and don’t forget the lip ring! That darn lip ring, you always wonder what it would feel like against your lips.

As you was in thought, you didn’t realise how quick you had walked, realising you was outside the studio already. You push open the door, the bell ringing above you.

“There’s my favourite cousin!” Kevin shouts, walking through from the back, black latex gloves on his hands and a wide smile on his face.

“Hey Kev.” You reply with a smile, as the male pulls you into a warm hug.

“I’m just prepping up for Eric, you take a seat and Sunwoo will be here soon.” Kevin tells you.

“Sunwoo?” You call, taking a seat on the comfy sofa.

“Yeah, he’s just popped out with Chanhee to grab coffee, he’s doing your tattoo remember?” He responds, as he turns his back and walks to a bed.

You sat down and think back to when you booked this tattoo, it then comes back to you. You had came in with the design already drawn up on some paper, Hyunjae being here to greet you that day. Sunwoo was here along with Changmin, the younger saying he’d done something similar before so he’d do it for you. 

“Oh yeah, I remember. So what is Eric getting this time?” You ask, trying to change the subject off Sunwoo.

Just as your cousin was about to answer, the door opens, the bell ringing again. You and Kevin both turn and see Sunwoo and Chanhee walk in, coffees in their hands.

“Hey mini Moon.” Chanhee calls, your nickname since you was younger than your cousin, but sharing the same surname.

“Hey Chanhee.” You politely reply.

You then see him. His hair dark and smooth, his tattooed arms on full display and his earrings shining in the sunlight.

“Hey Y/n, give me five to set up.” Sunwoo said professionally. You nod, lost for words at his beauty, making Chanhee and Kevin laugh, Sunwoo headed out back already.

“When will you tell him?” Chanhee asks you.

“W-What?” You stutter.

“You like Kim Sunwoo.” Your cousin replies.

You blush and look down at your phone as the two 98ers laugh and sort themselves out. Sunwoo then calls you over to his area. You walk over, to the bed, seeing the male sat with his gloves on already. He gives you a smile as you sit down.

“Its going on your leg right?” Sunwoo asks.

“Yeah, left one.” You answer, making him nod.

Both of you fall quiet as Sunwoo gets himself ready, he cleans the area of your leg and gets the design transfer placed on your leg, ready to do. You already knew it would take a good two hours, with how detailed and big it was.

“Ready beautiful?” Sunwoo calls.

“Y-Yes.” You stutter, shocked at the nickname and how casually Sunwoo said it.

You then hear the familiar buzz and slight sting as Sunwoo starts. You play on your phone as he does his work, the first hour flying by. Eric had arrived by now and Kevin was half way through with the boys tattoo. Chanhee was sat at the front desk, ready to answer the phone when needed too.

“I’m just going to pop to the bathroom.” Sunwoo said, removing his gloves to take a short break.

you nodded, picking up your phone, just as you heard Kevin’s voice.

“Hey Y/n we’re just heading to pick up some food, tell Sunwoo when he comes out.” He said, leaving with Eric and Chanhee, the sign on the door being turned to “out for lunch”. You laughed a bit, when Sunwoo came back from the bathroom.

“Its quiet, where’s Eric?” He asks, slipping a fresh pair of gloves on.

“Gone to get food with Kev and Hee.” You answer, making him nod.

“Alright, lets get this finished.” He said, carrying on with the tattoo.

“So, since its just the two of us, I’ve been meaning to ask you something.” Sunwoo said, his eyes on your leg.

“What is it?” You ask, placing your phone down, watching the handsome boy work.

“Wanna go on a date?” He asks, his voice so causal, as if he was asking you your favourite colour.

“A-A date?” You stutter.

“Yes a date. Us on a date.” He replies.

“R-Really?” You respond, making him laugh lighty, his wide smile showing his perfect white teeth.

“Yes really.” He replies.

“Okay. I’ve liked you for a while.” You blurted out, quickly covering your mouth.

“That’s great cause I’ve liked you for a while too.” Sunwoo responds, a faint blush on his cheeks.

“Really?” You repeated. Sunwoo pulls the needle away from your leg and smiles.

“Yeah, your very beautiful, funny, kind, sweet and cool. What’s not to like.” He replies. You smile wide as he finishes up.

“Okay all done. Now no need to pay with money.” He said, cleaning your leg up and placing the wrapping on it.

“How do I pay then?” You ask, looking up at the male.

“With a kiss on the cheek.” He answers.

You could feel the blush on your cheeks, knowing Sunwoo was teasing you slightly, but hey if you was gonna go on a date with a boy you really like and who really likes you, why not.

You nod, leaning in to kiss his cheek, but at the last minute, he turns his head and your lips meet. You could feel the butterflies erupt in your stomach and the coolness of the metal lip ring. You couldn’t believe it, you was kissing Kim Sunwoo!

When you pull away, Sunwoo smirks at you. You blush harder and look down at your feet.

“Tricked you babe, but don’t worry, more will come on our date. I’ll pick you up tomorrow at seven.” He said, making you smile.

My girlfriend told me to take the spider out instead of killing it.

We went and had some ramen. Cool gal.
