Accepting Life and Learning to Love Myself
It is hard to let go of those that became - even for a temporary time - a big part of our lives once they leave us. Especially if they left us hurt.  But once they let you go and are in some way moving on, it is only torturing yourself to hold on to false hopes and dreams you once had together. It is a torture to hold on to the memories of their presence and good things that you have shared with each other. Yes, It is hard to snap out of the sweet but false hope that they will come back soon and everything will magically be okay. But as the quote says: “In the process of letting go, you will lose many things from the past but YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF” After all, life is a one time given blessing and there are so many better things to do with your life than to spend it miserable for those who are not even worth it. YOU ARE YOUR ONLY FRIEND. It took me two months to actually come to this realization but I believe as long as you’re moving forward it doesn’t matter if you trip and fall on the way.
As of today, I will push myself to let go of the memories of and with, all those who have hurt me in a way or let me go in my moment of weakness. I will push myself to transfer to the acceptance stage of all my grievances and start a clean slate of life. I know it won’t be an easy thing to do but I know that I will come through this  and when I do, I will be an even stronger woman who knows how to love herself and not need to cling to any other kind of love than that.Â
