This article was by far the best article I have read thus far. Not often do you hear of people owning up to their mistakes, let alone accredited scientists with jobs and reputations on the line. This article has received thousands of views and hundreds of commendations from the public praising the team for their willingness to accept and publish their failure to replicable the data. This reminded me of the missing neutrinos article we read, while the observations were experienced once, the team was not able to replicate them and ultimately were forced to step away from the findings, and in this case, further investigations that were most likely planned to expand their knowledge of the findings. I was glad to see some scientists doing whats right and attempting to maintain the integrity and trust of the scientific community in the eyes of the public.
