001 | She-Ra and the Princesses of Power:

Favorite character: I love them all!!!! Catra is my favorite though, she’s always so much fun to watch and see her play off the other characters!

Least Favorite character: I love so many of them, and even the villains I think are interesting (I love them as characters, if not as people) so uh. Princess Plumeria, maybe? She and the Plumerians only fought back against the Horde after they had no other options, and I’m not a big fan of passively waiting for rescue.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Adora/Catra is my absolute fave, but I also love Catra/Scorpia, Glimmer/Bow, Glimmer/Adora, and Bow/Sea Hawk.

Character I find most attractive: Adora! Or possibly She-Ra? Though I can’t help but think that She-Ra would look better with her hair tied back… :P

Character I would marry: Bow!

Character I would be best friends with: Glimmer!

a random thought: When will the other cadets in the Horde get more screentime!!!! I really want to learn about their backstories and when they rebel against Hordak with the power of love!!!!

An unpopular opinion: I don’t know if this is actually unpopular, but I didn’t actually like Glimmer much at first? She felt like a walking ‘rebellious princess’ trope, but she grew on me.

My Canon OTP: Spinnerella/Netossa!

My Non-canon OTP: Adora/Catra

Most Badass Character: So many of them have great badass moments! But Adora/She-Ra have the most, IMO.

Most Epic Villain: God, Catra’s arc and the way her friendship and hurt and all turn her from trying to ‘rescue’ Adora to going full ham for the Horde is just!!! I love Catra.

Pairing I am not a fan of: Mermista/Sea Hawk, though I do love them as volatile BFFs

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Can’t think of any, honestly. I love them all. (Even if I wish some of them had more screentime!)

Favourite Friendship: Glimmer and Bow!

Character I most identify with: Adora.

Character I wish I could be: ….while I’m pretty happy as myself, I think it would be AWESOME to be huge and tall like Scorpia. And have cool claws. Just for a little bit.

002 | Alexi/Emily (Dishonored)

When I started shipping them: Oh god. From the very beginning when we see poor Alexi dying. Then I read more about them in the wiki and I just. Poor Alexi.

My thoughts: WHY GIVE US THIS TRAGIC BACKSTORY AND INFO THAT WE NEVER SEE IN THE ACTUAL GAME AND ONLY HAVE TO GAIN THROUGH SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL!!!! Why not have Alexi live as an ally!!!! Or if you’re gonna try to pull the emotional whammy of Alexi dying on us as a parallel to Jessamine dying in DH1, then give us that actual emotional whammy by having the game give us more context about their relationship!!!!

What makes me happy about them: Childhood BFF and loyalty and personally promoted by Emily??? There is so much material there!!!!

What makes me sad about them: Alexi’s canonical death, but fuck canon I do what I want!!!!

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I...confess that I have not actually read enough fanfic for this ship to identify specific trends, but in general? I dislike unaddressed power imbalances, so any shipfic I prefer would have them as childhood sweethearts (before they became more conscious of their stations) or with Alexi making the first move, because uh. A lot of really weird areas for “can I even turn down my empress???”

Things I look for in fanfic: Mostly, I am in it for the fix-it fic where Alexi survives and joins Emily on adventures!!!!

My wishlist: Low-chaos Emily/Alexi, Alexi lives, and lots of opportunities for sparring and late-night tenderness.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Emily/Billie is a good ship! And now that we mention it (because I also ship Hypatia/Billie, so if Billie’s not with Hypatia…) I think Alexi/Hypatia could be an interesting ship too. :O Distinguished doctor, rugged young captain, a formal courtship or meeting at some function where Emily introduces them….

My happily ever after for them: Low-chaos Emily and Alexi survive the events of DH2, introduce sweeping reforms, and Emily formally marries Alexi in a grand ceremony because they realize what’s truly important to them. (Also maybe Emily looks at discreetly loosening the power of the monarchy and shifting towards a republic, or at least something where the Empress is more of a figurehead and less of a target. Because egads if another Empress down the line undoes all her reforms, then what’s even the point!)

003 | Athena (Borderlands)

How I feel about this character: OHO YOU HAVE OPENED THE FLOODGATES!!!! I love her, gosh. I loved playing as her but also she’s just!!! So great??? I love how she’s clever and honorable (albeit in a very much “I obey my contract” sort of way) and she has so much goddamn tragedy. Like. She basically lost all chance for a ‘normal’ life when she was recruited into the Lance Assassins as a kid, Jess was her only family tie and hope of having a regular life, and I just feel like part of her emotional stoicism is from this fatigue at having to FEEL all the time, like it’s easier just to clamp down and repress everything because there’s never a safe time or place to unload!!!!

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Janey Springs/Athena is my OTP!!!! Though I will also consider Athena/Lilith and Athena/Moxxi mostly because a) they’re hot, and b) don’t tell me Athena wouldn’t be into them stepping on her!!!!

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: I really like Nurse Nina and hc that Athena and Nina remain friends after the Pre-Sequel.

My unpopular opinion about this character: ….I don’t know how unpopular it actually is, but gosh. This gorgeous amazon is a massive sub.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: SHE AND JANEY DATE AND CAN GET MARRIED I DON’T NEED ANYTHING ELSE I JUST NEED THIS AND IT HAPPENED!!!! :D

Favorite friendship for this character: I keep putting friendships as the favorite non-romantic relationship, so am repeating myself but!!!! Athena & Nina, yes please.

My crossover ship: Since I just dived in Dishonored feels… Emily/Athena? Athena/Alexi? Emily/Athena/Alexi???? Athena’s aspis could very directly translate to her being another guard loyal to Emily, or possibly another person touched by the Outsider and all kinds of hijinks!
